Please join Twisted Flyer, The TDSA and The Lodge @ Taylor Ranch this Saturday for a free mini.

It is our hopes to get everyone out for a moccassin creek work day / mini. LUNCH will be provided by The Lodge, The TDSA is adding $100.00 cash to the pro's and Twisted Flyer is paying out the AM's.

Schedule is as follows

Meet up @ 10:00am at The Lodge
10:00am - 1:00pm work on clearing sticks, rocks and stray branches from the fairways.
1:00pm - 1:45pm Lunch
2:00 Free mini players meeting

You must be at the "work" part of the day to qualify for the Free Mini.

If 20 people show up we can have the fairways cleaned out a bit on the course so Big Jim can do his "Tractor Magic". We will also be debuting the MANDO'S that will be in play for the NT.

I appreciate everyone's efforts to date and Thank You in advance for your consideration.

Yep, I read it as Sunday, just like it says on the calendar. This is THE Future pro events... besides the OO. Forest is TDSA so no, his toes are fine or certainly we would have heard from him. As for taking $$$ from future events... let's reflect on the almost $4,000.00 the NT pre efforts have raised in the last 2 months.

Ok, now that all is settled with Mr. Mitchell, we really need as many people as can make it Saturday.

I doubt we see many volunteers next weekend, Chandler Stock, and the weekend after that is the NT.

Joe and I are ready on our end 100%, but we still need help getting the new course to look it's best..

It is supposed to be nice and warm so please come out.

I agree with Treat 100%. It would also be nice to see some new faces out to help, not just the same 10 people. The Taylors have given away a bunch of free greens fees and many a beer and meal as well. It would be nice to see that Karma work it's way back to them. I can promise you after this weekends "fairway clean up" mission and the last set of Tee- Pads the work days will be over and we will all have a cool place to chill and golf.

The Free mini was a BLAST! We were able to get 30 hands in motion and REALLY GET SOME WORK DONE! From sod on the new penninsula hole, to new sod around the Lodge we certainly outdid most yard crews. We also were able to fine tune several holes, clearing out brush, rocks and sticks. I have learned that in the country when you want something gone... you mash through it with a tractor and BURN it!!!

We designed a few new pad spots, the Moccassin Creek is now the new showcase course at the Lodge.

We all had Easter Ham early in the lodge and having not been able to eat for 3 days due to a cracked jaw, it was nice to Vicodin up and eat my boo-tay off! Thanks DEB!

We did Pro / Am Doubles which was won (Tied for 1st) by...

Devan (Team Twisted Cat) Owens / Lindsey Taylor = 55
Chris (C Dub) / Gumby Barton (Team Work Horse) = 55
Pennycamp / Twisted1 (Team Put up or shut up) = 56

ALL AM's walked away with cool GCO discs and the pro's walked with CASH!!! For those of you that missed it, you missed a great day of friendship, fun and work that will make a difference over time. :D

Joe is right we got a ton of work done, which only leaves a ton and a half left

We fixed the potential safety issue with hole 7 throwing to 5's tee pad and we moved hole 8 up on the top of the bluff, wow what a pretty shot, almost hole 3 at USDGC cool....

We will continue to show up and work for the next two weeks.

Come out when you can and throw the new course. The more feet we get out there the better established the trails will be.

If you see a stick or rock we missed feel free to toss it out of the way.

Even though Joe and I are the front men, the world will also judge the entire TDSA when they are here.

You know we have always made great impressions so lets keep it up.

Hope to see some folks out playing and chunking...

Happy Easter...
