Hey John, as the new guy in charge, have you decided if you are keeping the 3 day tee time format for the Halloween Event?

If so, have you picked the dates yet as I want to make sure to get the condo, car and airfare set.

Thanks in advance!

Keith

Hey there Keith,

The LV Halloween Classic is scheduled for Oct 23 - 25 with tee time format. As I get more information I will post it here and on our site at http://www.lvbagtag.com.

Thanks again and keep checking back....

I don't know if I'm happy or sad that it's not on Halloween weekend with Halloween on a Saturday this year.

On the plus side, Vegas will certainly be far less crowded with many many many people waiting to come the following weekend.

On the minus side, walking the Vegas strip on Halloween night is one of life's great pleasures. :)

I agree and wish we could have had it on the Halloween Weekend, but we were not able to get the park, something about them having a big concert there on Halloween weekend. -- Sorry :(

Thanks for that info. If ya can't get the permit, you can't get the permit.

I love the "same divisional order every day" thing that you guys did with the tee-times last year, so when you're planning please keep that in mind. Two players from San Diego that come out to the event love that scenario the best! :D We like having a set schedule for the weekend even if it's early tee-times. We're not fond of the late tee-time one day followed by a crack-o-dawn time that happens when their mixed around.

Plus with the traditional divisional power order you guys use, if I don't like the early tee-times I can just keep moving up divisions until I get to a later time I like. :)

Thanks Mr. Ricker!

It does stink to miss Halloween weekend, as last year I got LOTS of pictures while walking down the street as well as while having dinner with the Stroh's. :D

Lordy, Lordy, Vegas at Halloween time - NOTHING like it anywhere.

Now I just need Biscoe to schedule the Hawk Hollow for Halloween weekend, so I don't have to choose between the BEST course in GA which gets used twice a year 2 hours from my house and the outstanding FREE dinner by the Biscoe's at the BEST course in the US, as they just shifted the dates for the GA Event to OCT 17-18th. :p

Yeah, Sunset Park. Bring your roller in case it isn't windy. :D

I really like Sunset, but there aren't that many options for the setup.

Hey Ricker!! Are you going to post a layout for the tournament? Or are you just gonna let us keep guessing????
Also, can we get the PDGA to update the entries...then you can stop calling me a bagger....

Well let see...

Here is the ScoreCard

and here is a link to the course map of Sunset Park (Hole one has been moved and is about 340')

Hope that helps for now.

See everyone in a few days!!

Hole one is now beyond and left of the 2nd tee pad, so you are shooting under the tree in the course photos John linked to if you throw straight at it. Also, the light pole that sits in front of #2 basket long is a mando for the 2-3 hole combo. Left side of course. This tee has been moved to the field beyond the tee 2 pad.
