We lost a true friend to disc golf Sunday March 22, 2009. Clint Ehlers passed away at his home in Jacksonville. He had a passion for the sport and seeing it develop in Jacksonville like no other. A founding partner of Orbital Enhancements, Clint believed in a vision of seeing Jacksonville as the future "Mecca" of disc golf. A great friend, father and disc golfer, he will be truly missed.

To all of our friends,
The Ehlers family will be holding services on Thursday evening at 7 pm at the All Saints Episcopal Church.

His Disc Golf family will also be having a memorial service for him on Saturday at Ed Austin Regional park ( Monument / Mccormick), where our discgolf course is located. The service will begin at 9:30 down by the pond, so we can remember Clint in the place he touched so many people's life. We encourage you to bring any pictures you might have of Clint either in copy or electronic form on a disk that we can print later so we can put together a book for his daughter Jordi to remember him.

Shock and sorrow are reverberating throughout the state as every golfer in Clearwater I've seen in the past 3 days has been at a loss for words regarding Clint's passing. I send my condolences to all his family and friends.
