Hello everyone, I'm a little disappointed with the PDGA and in general, the lack of good disc golf video coverage. I live in Phoenix and I was at the Memorial this past month and there were big fancy PDGA cameras videotaping the lead groups. Where does all this footage go? I think most people would agree with me they would like to see good footage from the top open men's pro division. There used to be discgolftv.com which had some decent footage but now it seems to be dead...all we got from these fancy cameras was a 10 minute video each day with interviews? Where is all the footage of the lead groups? In any disc golf DVD I've seen the most you can hope for is 5-9 holes of the lead group and the rest is random junk. In regular golf its the very best players that get the attention...the senior players and the women are given less attention for a reason - less people want to see them. Same with any sport on TV. Disc golf, however, tries to give equal attention to all divisions...why? It's just not good business sense. I would like to see some free videos of not just the top group in these big tournaments but the top 3 groups on all the holes. Just like in regular golf they track the leaders or players when they get hot and show other players when they make great shots. And if you want to sell the DVD even though we already pay too much for a pdga membership, it should contain good high quality footage of the whole tournament, not just the last 9 holes...
