if you're referring to the "Elite-Z" Spectra, which is in a super color "Z" plastic, then yes. It's more like ESP than than Z, but the Spectra came out before they had ESP out, so they just called it a super color elite Z disc.
There are supercolor surges, buzzzes, and challengers as well. these more resemble either a stiffer D plastic or a ESP plastic, depending on the disc. The Supercolor Surge is also like a different mold, being 1.5 on the stability scale in comparison with its normal 1.7 in other plastic.
The only other supercolor z that you might be talking about to my knowledge, unless Discraft is releasing something new, is the ColorMax prints you can get on Elite Z discs for tourney stamped discs, then it's the same.
hope that helps.

yah, i'm talking about a supercolor buzzz. it's not a special tourney disc or anything - just the one with big colorful bug on it. i love it though, 3 aces with it in 6 months. was looking to get another couple and wondering if i had to buy the supercolor to get that plastic or if the elite z is what was used. i'm guessing based on your info that esp is closer to supercolor plastic than elite z, which seems a little strange since i've got an esp buzzz (and a flex and an elite x) and it feels quite different. bottom line is that i probably just have to shell out the extra dough for the 'supercolor' plastic if i like the way it feels that much, huh
