For those of us that day dream about one day being 1000+, im sure there are players that you've always looked up to for some reason.
I've always enjoyed watching Barry Schultz play and would probably consider him my favorite player.
Why? Probably because he always seems like a constant professional.
Thoughts? Opinions? Comments?

MitchMac - not only a great all around player, but one of the best attitudes on the course. I have always played my best round when playing in his group.
Kevin McCoy - Again, great attitude about the game, always enjoyed playing with him.
Worst players I have ever played with .............
naw, that might get me in trouble for personal attacks. Needless to say, none of them are playing tournaments these days.

Cool Discussion, their are a ton of people that I think or amazing I that I look up to for sure. I guess If I had to choose one that would be either Eric McCabe or maybe McBeth and Schusterick. Eric is just an amazing player and is cool on and off of the course. Same goes for McBeth and Schusterick and they're only teenagers and are super mature for their age. All these guys are great example's for the up and comers of this sport. There's plenty of other pro's that I look up to also but these 3 definitely stand out amongst the rest for me.

Like usual, most people immediatly start naming players who are really good players.
Some of my favorite people to play with would be pointless to name b/c no one has ever heard of them outside of our area.

LOL. and your point is what?
"I just came here to say, I have nothing to say."
I like Paul McB. I followed the final card for the back 9 at the Memorial 08. He had played great the first 2 rounds but the wheels had fallen off at this point. The crowd was behind him %100 and allthought it was clear he wasn't playing to his potential his attitude was great and he was giving it his all and putting on one heck of a show off the tee. I talked to him later, here in Texas, and he was a cool guy.

Emac - He throws far, throws accurate, & putts like a maniac. Plus he's my size :D

Justin Jernigan - gives college players hope that you can still be 1000 rated and devote your time to school as well.
Wyatt Coggin - I always play my best round with him, cause its incredibly relaxed.

Mr. M to the TL: Just because I really enjoy playing basketball with my friend Jason doesn't mean I don't enjoy being a fan of Chauncey Billups. Although the sport hasn't evolved to the point that we have TRUE superstars on a level beyond the common man like basketball and baseball and the other major sports, there is still a minor level of fanhood. In this way people should be allowed to state their favorites.
Now to answer the question... My favorite disc golfer, amongst the top level players, would probably be .... I've sat here for 15 minutes. Screw it, I can't think of one. Anybody with the drive to be a champion impresses me.

Schweb: is pumped about seeing people throw plastic and make nice shots, we both aren't afraid to show emotion....Love his overhand and technical skills.
Rico: Sickest putter I've ever seen live...Mellow respectful old school...Just nasty
Jo Jo: Being from GA originally myself and having played and lived in NC, always nice to see longhairs that can throw the lazer line. I'm an old head but the lost the beard and locks many years ago after too many "encounters" with the man. Back to the point Jo Jo throws straighter than anyone I've ever seen.

NC locals MJ and Schweb are great guys and very approachable...I think Doug Cline, Larry Ellis or Senator John Glenn are my favorites to get a round in with (I can usually beat them).

Glad the ankles held up!
You missed one heck of a speed golf round yesterday at singles (actually a decent number came out!) because of an approaching storm that eventually crushed everyone on the last couple of holes.
Adding to the list of hopefuls to play with, Jeremy Koling. I got to watch him at the Pro/Am last weekend and he is really positive, and has one heck of an arm! I'm pretty sure he threw a z comet 500ft.

He must have been affraid that I would send photo's to Discraft. I'll try to remember to bring the contact sheets of the Distance throwing I got some really good shoots.

Many , and I mean Many come to mind, however, let me categorize this. Lil Wiggins, his demeanor and pursuit of perfection. Like Wyatt stated, Team Jenkins, what a pair, these 3 I would go to a course any day.

Justin is my favorite of course, awesome player all around, good bowler, still can stomp him in guitar hero, lol. Dave Cox is right up there to, best putter i've ever seen and one of the few pro's that will actually cut up with you during a round.

Well, I've never met a disc golfer I didn't like.... but E-mac and Liz Lopez are easily my two favorite pros in the world and really good people all around and Miles Seaborn is right there with them as a great guy. E-mac is also really cool to watch throw with his twisty style, I just wish he hadn't broken his hand this year and been slowed some by that.
Some other really great and nice touring pros I've been lucky enough to enjoy the company of are Tom Monroe (doesn't tour so much anymore), Nate Doss, Avery Jenkins, Coda Hatfield, Jay and Des Reading, Paul Ulibari (sic), the list goes on and they have all been super nice to me even though I'm an 875 rated older player that is only here for the good times. I have to say disc golfers at the pro level have really represented the sport well at all the tournaments I've attended.

John E McCray. play with him multiple rounds every week. Sick, sick, sick skills on the course. Plus he always has a positive attitude. And he is an excellent ambassador for the sport here in Florida. He has 30 mini demons out learning to play the game in Tampa, and they are all getting good fast. guess that is what happens when rookies play with the super pros around here on the Florida Tour. (JohnE, some dude named Climo, Garrett Gurthie, Alexsi Bubis, Greg Hossfeld, STEVE SLAZOR (seriously he is amazing) For sure we have some talents on the pro side of the draw. and they are all good people who love the sport.
Plus JohnE still gets all choked up on his acceptance speeches :) You would think he would be used to it after his 60 pro wins in florida

I would have to say my favorite player to play with of all time is the great Dan Ginnelly. I got the honor of playing 2 rounds with him on my own home course this past weekend and spending a reasonable amount of time around the man and he is one of the greatest men ive ever met on and off the course. Not to mention hes probably the most solid player ive ever had the pleasure of playing with and watching. And he carries a conversation with you even if its you or him puttin gor driving which is aweseom not many people do that and it helps me relax more and hes always positive abotu the game.
Also this guy is like my older brother and taught me a lot of what i know about my game, Paul Ulibarri, I remember the old days when we would go and hang out on the course and just play a round and it wasn't serious comp. and when we would stay after and just practice putting or play a round of doubles with some of the guys, and not to mention hes a great guy and DG'er. and to say i knew him and how good he was before any of you knew him and recognized his game, im honored to say that. GO PABLO!!!
