There have been several golfers that are unable to travel this weekend to Arkansas that are lokking for a local event so Coda and I will be running the following:
Date: This Saturday
Time: Registration (at McClure) 9:00-9:30. Tee off at 10:00
Cost: $20.00 per player
100% payout

Rules: Every player will play the first round in the same division. After the first round the players will be split into an A and B flight (A flight top 50% of scores B flight bottom 50% of scores). All players that make the top 50% will get $10.00 cash back prior to the beginning of round 2. The remaining money will go to payout the top 1/3 in the A and B pool (equally split). The A pool will play for cash, the B pool willplay for plastic.

Example;
10 players show up at $20 = $200
After the first round 5 players go to the A pool and get $10 each = $50 and 5 players go to the B pool. That leaves $150 in the pot and $75 goes to both the A and B pool. 2 of the 5 in each division would get paid.
This will be grat practice for the Spring Series by the way.

No problem with rent. We are just trying to meet the need of the local golfers. Any profit will go to paint circles around the baskets at McClure to add to the quality of Joes event. I have commited to sponsoring that course.

I want to make it clear to support the Ice Bowl on Sat and Sun. if possible. That is the event on the schedule. This is just a "where are we playing today post"

I hear what your saying Dale. The good news is that if anyone has ever played an event I run than they are well aware that I add a great deal of my own plastic to usually surpass the added cash for the open players or in this case the A pool. If I'm not mistaken I added 20+ discs att Copperhead a few months back. Just here to hhelp others. Nothing in it for me!

I dont think you can ever get enough of a little local fellowship and fun. But thats just me.

What a day!!! There were some really good shots... and some really bad shots... All around a good day! I did roll hole #3 at Dovillio about 50' and drained the putt!!! WOW... Awesome to be able to make the putt in play and for a 2!!! Had fun all day! Who wants to play tommorrow?

The only one that won more than me was Coda. I put in $20, took out $10 for a ctp, then got a clash dvd and three star discs. Take off your shoes and do the math on that one Richard. :o:p

Embarrassment to the Pro division? You are both an embarrassment to the local Am divisions. :o You especially still signing up in the Nov or beginners divisions and Mitchell playing advanced master for the last 15 years. :confused: :o
The one and only time Mitchell stepped up he got slammed back down to the am side. The only time you have ever stepped up was to avoid Mitchell and the Q. :o

You both should create your own division:
