don't know about the other divisions
2nd round was random doubles, captains choice
eddie g and ? won
mook and mike d 2nd

florida update. played wickham again, 6 miles away and then went out towards orlando and stoped in cocoa beach and played at Burton smith park. pdga says short -challenge with tunnels shot. and some water. it wouldve been easier today with out the 20 plus winds. lost disc in middle of fairway when i threw about four shots and one in the drink in a muddy mercky creek on the alternate hole. had fun again. My shots of the day wherewhen i made 1 heck of a 2 from about 90' one time today though in the afternoon winds of cocoa. and deuced a hole i had foured the day before at wickham - threaded a sidewinder between a narrow trree that had two trunks for the bird from 325. gonna take a break for a few days and vacation on.

Is it not terribly unusual for the scores to take so long?
Might it have anything to do with factoring in the weather?
If anyone has any clues as to whats causing the delay please share.

May be the stimulis package, LOL. The may be experiencing a etc problem or network pc problems. Or like most of us, just thawing out. Not sure, but this weather has us all out of norm. Hope the Crosstown is dryer/warmer, alot.

The scores that are posted by the TD initially on the scores page of this website are "Unofficial" Scores. You'll Notice it says "unofficial results" right under the tournament title when you go to look at scores. The scores become "Official" once the TD report is turned in to the PDGA and they process it. the TD report is a 7 page document that takes a little while to prepare.

Man ohh Man, was that some cold rain in the second round. I began to not care anymore after my first two bogeys from the shorts when i couldnt feel my fingers. I then went to the gloves for the last 12 holes and never took them off, driving putting, etc. i even made a forty some footer behind the orange lines wearing them gloves. All in all that was one of the hardest one day tournaments(due to the elements- wind, cold rain) that i have played in 13 years of PDGA events. Usually it rains in one round but not both or the entire day, althought the sun did come out for a little while during lunch it was one wet day.
Congrats to all the winners of each division. I can say that was the first time we had to dry out scorecards by the propane tanks in order to be able to read them. Thanks, to the parks department for the mulch, just think how sloppy it could have been without all that new mulch.
Even though it was raining 90% of the entrys finished and that is what its all about.
I hope no one has pnuemonia? and hopefully everyone is finally drying out. My boots i left in the truck are still wet and hopefully will be dry by saturday for Earlwood. They may get rain again this weekend but at least it will be in the hi 60's and not low 40's. Thanks, again to all who choose to compete and finish in the brutal conditions this weekend in High Point.
