Both pools will play McNaughton and Morton on Saturday, shotgun start.

Sunday will be 27 holes of tee-times at Lake Eureka Park starting at 8:00 am

$1 from each entry fee will go towards EDGE.

50/50 Fundraiser for GPO tournament series
April 11th, 18th, 2009

Signups from 1-1:45pm tee off at 2pm

April 11th- BYOP Best Shot Doubles at Morton $20 a team ($10 per player) One round of 18 holes with teams in each division prizing out in CASH! Divisions are limited to Open and Amateur. Mulligans will be available for purchase for $2 each. There will be a 50/50 available for $5 and an optional ace fund for $2. The ace fund, if no one hits one, will roll over to the next weekend and continue to build through the series. If at the end of this series no one still hits it, it will then be thrown off for a 50/50 CTP on the 18th, and that money will go towards cash for the GPO. Half of all funds paid in will go into the GPO with the exception of the mulligan's which all proceeds will go straight into that fund.

April 18th- Bring your own PARTNERS (plural, yes that's right) TRIPLES at MCNAUGHTON! $10 per player on each team. We will play long tees, for AMs and Gold tees for Open.(gold tees are a longer and more complicated challenging layout designed by Brian Lucas measuring just over 8400ft.!)
Keep in mind that this series is a fundraiser for the upcoming GPO in May, and will not have any trophies or plaques or ctp's other than one optional 50/50 hole at each course.

We will be accepting PFC funbucks for entries in lieu of cash for those of you who have them!

An update for those interested:
-Registrations are starting to pick up on both the am and pro side, so please register early if you are planning on playing.
-The added cash is starting to pile up as well. The PFC has been steadily raising money all winter. We even got the US Army to donate 100 bucks for a score card (all 3 score card sponsorships have been sold).
-The temp holes at Eureka have been designed, they will offer a different challenge than the original 18 holes. They are also very spectator friendly.
-Ams will be getting their moneys worth right off the bat with a GPO custom huk sit, fun bux and a GPO stamped disc.
-For those of you who live in IL, the top finishing MPO player will win the IL rep for the USDGC

It's kind of surprising to see only 49 people pre-registered so far.

There is going to be a ton of added cash for the Pros, the Am player pack is going to be great and the courses are AWESOME. We're playing two of the best courses in Illinois on Saturday (McNaughton and Northwoods) and then a very challenging Eureka Lake layout with 9 temp holes that are EXTREMELY tough. Our local league played 5 of the temp holes last night and there were several discs lost in the lake and the average score for the five holes was 19.

Come on out and see what Illinois disc golf is all about!

$50 bounty for a round that is 49 or better from McNaughton LONGS.

If multiple people shoot 49 or better, you will split the 50.
