I know that we all have had some bad shots in our time playing disc golf!! What's yours???

I can remember playing the frizz in 05' with the "fun and crazy" Mitch Mac. We were playing one of the pecan grove parks, the hole is about 490ft slightly uphill. I step up to throw it all the way there, i check out the teepad that is covered with hay and it felt ok. So I proceed to rip it and at the last second my front foot slides about a foot. I try my hardest to hold onto it but it comes out going backwards and fast!!!! It went the 490ft, but backwards. Never seen Mitch bust out laughing at someones shot, but he did. Thank god, I reach into my pocket and pull out my last MULLIGAN. :D

I was playing the OO a couple of years ago, we were on 8 at redhawk. I was third on the box and proceed to throw my drive into the ground about 30' from the tee box. J-rod was up after me. I told him I would give him a dollar if he out drove me! Needless to say he had my dollar before he stepped off the tee box.

It was in a doubles match against you. I step up on hole 1 at Black Hawk and SLAM, hit the first tree in front of the tee box and it causes everyone to duck as it hits the park building to the left, there were people standing every where up there, don't know how I didn't hit anyone. Might not have been so bad but there was about 35 people standing around hole 1 watching. :D

Too many to choose from over the span of 30 years but my favorite bad drive was at a glide where I nose dived the drive about the same 30' that mutt managed. darned side arm goes low some times!

My Best worst drive happend in Temple, Tx hole #1. We were playing in wind that was truly unreal, constant 30+ with gusts well over 50mph. The hole is about 305ft, I throw a hyzer it hits the basket and then the wind caught it!!! It proceeded to roll past the teepad I just threw from!!! Took a 5!!

Don't know if you could call it a worst drive but we happened to be at McClure when Big Nic let her rip and planted it on the street sign. That was pretty cool. :D

MARTIN...DO YOU REMEMBER THE DRIVE ON HOLE 11 AT DOVILLIO???WHERE YOU HAD A SERIOUS CASE OF GRIP LOCK WHILE PLAYING DOUBLES...YOUR SHOT ENDED UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE INTERSECTION...BEHIND THE TEE BOX...EVERY TIME I PLAY DOVILLIO AND GET TO HOLE 11 I REMEMBER PLAYING DOUBLES WITH YOU...

I HAD THE SAME SHOT...YOUR WERE THERE WISE...I DIDN'T JUST HIT THE BUILDING...I WEDGED UNDER IT...ALTHOUGH IT WAS NOT IN A TOURNAMENT....JUST A PICK UP GAME...

1 year anniversary of playing the sport. Frankilin Park (I think) Bowling Green Kentucky. Like the 3rd or 4th hole i believe only like 175. But your on top of a hill backed off the edge about 10 ft. Sidewalk down the trail S curves, it is out of bounds.
I throw first. Deliberate between standing up or kneeling. Decide to stand up, Bam of the lip of the Ridgeand into one of the many trees below and onto the walkway. OB !!! But I don't know it until I get down there and find out it is out by like a 1/4 inch. So I have to run up this freekin' 80degree trail back up to the top. Kneel with my flash and just float it back down around some of the trees. Slam into a tree 5 feet behind the basket and into the rim and on the ground. Still a pretty sweet hole and circle 4. Can't wait to get back to BG 09. PS this was before I ever considered driving with a putter.
