Here is info on Alabama's 2009 Yellowhammer State Tour.


The Deal
- You must play in at least 7 of the 12 events to qualify for the Bonus.
- You do NOT have to play 7 events in the same Division to qualify, but you may only earn one bonus payout.
- There is no championship event. Attendance at any one event is not necessary.



The Purse
- $1.00 will be taken out of every player's entry fee at every series event.
- The money will be added to the bonus purse & distributed by division.
Example: If there were 10 Open players at the first event, $10 would go into the kitty for the Open division bonus.


Solstice Disc Sports is ADDING $600.00 to be divided among all of the divisions!!


* *Money collected in divisions that do not have any qualified players at the end of the year will be split proportionally among all qualified divisions.


The Points
-Points will be awarded and rewarded by division.
-You get 2 points for playing in an event and 1 point for each person you tie or beat within your division.
-At the end of the year, the qualified points earners in a division will be paid out on a graduated scale,like the current PDGA divisional payout scales.

-Pros are paid in Cash.
-Ams paid out in Merchandise from the ProShop @ Solstice Disc Sports; where you can use your payout on discs, accessories, clothing and more!

The lowest score from any Open division for any Alabama-residing player NOT already qualified will get the AL State Rep spot to compete at the USDGC in October.

Open Divisions - $60.00
Advanced, Intermediate & Recreational - $40.00
Novice & Juniors - $25.00

All Age- and Gender-Specific Divisions will be offered with 3 or more competitors.

$10 fee for players not current on PDGA membership.
New players will get a PDGA# for their $10.

Novice & Juniors will compete for a trophy only.
