That was some extreme circumstances last year, over 6 inches of rain real fast, the layout is super cool, hopefully we'll have "normal" conditions this go around

Randal
Jan 17 2009, 11:56 AM
Very true and that would be TWO 6"inch rain storms within ten days of each other, but that was at the end of March this year's the end of May. Warmer and in full bloom it'll be awsome.

Update: almost $2000 in sponsorship and lunch for 90 golfers. Now that doesn't mean total added cash (minus player pack tee shirt, event disc etc.) But we truly qualify as a B'teir event. hope to see everyone there May 30th

Randal
Mar 23 2009, 09:33 AM
$500 added cash to Pro payout, $500 added cash to Am payout, lunch provied by Firehouse subs for all registered players. Player pak, ring of fire and ctp (ctp benefits the EDGE program) plus I'm working on a professional photographer to take photos of everyone in action, so bring a little extra cash, you may want to take one of those home with you for sure.

Looks like 412 East to 540, then 540 north all the way till it turns to 71, the park willbe just past that on your right. If you get to the golf courses on either side of the road, you went too far.

Cris and Dave,

You guys are not REALLY married until you get your partner's name tatooed on your body. That's real commitment and not just showing up at church one day and saying "I do". You guys do what you want to do and don't the law in California bother you. :)

Not being on the lead card is the only way you will avoid me, unless you step back up to Open where you belong.

sschumacher
May 29 2009, 10:10 AM
Wise, you are such a "Bambi". Don't worry, my campaign manager will only own you for less than a year and then you can go hide in the Grand Masters division.

twoputtok
May 29 2009, 10:19 AM
He doesn't own me now. You need to check the records a little better.

We have played against each other in 4 tournaments this year.

We are even against each other, with each of us having two wins against each other and I took the last one at the NT. Total cash for each of us in those 4 events..... Hicks $230.....Wise $253.

He is rated 953, I'm at 946. His stats say he should be ahead of me but his game says otherwise.

Suck on that!

sschumacher
May 29 2009, 10:29 AM
Then why are you telling him to go back to "Open" then?

That sounds like FEAR to me. :)

twoputtok
May 29 2009, 10:33 AM
Because he is good enough for Open, I don't have a problem beating him in Masters, I like the way he shakes his head is disbelief everytime I do it.

sschumacher

[QUOTE=twoputtok;1379280]Because he is good enough for Open, QUOTE]

So is your 52 at Dovillio. (Second to Coda)

Bock....Bock....Bock.....Cluck....cluck...cluck!!!

Your problem is that you suffer from "Shrinkage". :)

twoputtok
May 29 2009, 11:14 AM
Check your records again dumbarse, I shot a 51.

sschumacher
May 29 2009, 11:23 AM
Well I'm surprised you could get your "big head" in your Avalanche and drive home afterwards.

You play "Open" in all the mini's but when a big tournament comes around you're like "frank and beans" in a cold swimming pool.

The medical term for it is "skrinkage" but in your case it happens 24 hours a days 7 days a week.

twoputtok
May 29 2009, 11:32 AM
Again you speak out of your arse. Go to any of the listings for a sanctioned PDGA event and show me how many players cashed in the open division that were rated below 950.

That answer would be well below 10%.

If I suffer from shrinkage, then you suffer from puss-itis or tucksitunder. I at least back up my smack with some game. You on the other hand are just a never had it player and a wannabe TD.:p

You on the other hand are a Pubic Ambassador of Disc Golf and therefore spend your time on your knees under the tables of all those public DG functions. :o

This was a very fun tournament. This first course I've played in Arkansas. After being the first player there yesterday, playing three rounds of disc golf, then driving home 3.5 hours and leaving at 9:30...I had a great time!

The course was pretty neat, I really like holes 4, 5, 7, 10, and 16. 14 was interesting, but you don't need to take the fairway to get a 4. Sometimes, the shortcut could be an easier three. Also, the last two holes were kind of boring, but I will still be back in the future.

Russ did a great job with the tournament. Players packs were great, and having lunch was awesome. Lots of CTP's and Ring of Fire prizes! Scores took a while to Tabulate, but hey, that was just more time to hang out with some good friends. Thanks for everything!
