If I dont have a job by then (and please shoot me if I don't) I might be at all of these since my wife and son are temporarily residing a mile or two down the road from HH.

I am thinking this might just have to be my week off this year. Haven't had one since Am Worlds in 2006 and this looks great!

101 Players at the Registration Monthly on Saturday!
It started off a little chilly but turned into a beautiful day. Bryan Gawler won the Men's Open division with a sweet 98 (48SS 50DS) outscoring Hunter by 7. Kristen Weidle shot a solid 112 to take Women's Open and outscore 2/3rds of the remaing pro field (men and women - 40 total). J-ohnny G-range took home Pro-Master's but I don't recollect his score (4th place was a 4-way tie at 108 in Masters.) And the 2008 Grange Monthly Series Champion, Will Lewis, once again topped the Pro-GM Division.
btw, monthly scores for the last two years are available now at http://www.grangediscgolf.com. I will be posting Saturdays scores this week.
We had 32 players in the Intermediate division. That was almost double the number of any other group and most of them were playing in the correct division. To me this this as a real good sign for the near-term future of disc golf, especially here in Virginia.
Registration for the Virginia Open was solid. I went into yesterday not knowing what to expect and considering that we have 54 more total spots and the events are separate, giving everyone a little registration breathing space, I would say we did well. The numbers ran about the same as last year overall. Online registration has been steady since yesterday morning.
Plenty of spots are still available.
Please copy and post to your respective local boards.
Thanks,
Bryan
