The GSSS enters it second year after an outstanding 2008 in which all 6 Events sold out early and we paid out Over 200% to Pros and over 175% to Ams at each Event with some great sponsorship.
You'll notice that except for exchanging sponsorships with a few friends around the country, I didn't bother the PDGA world for sponsorships at all in 2008.

Well to help make 2009 bigger and better, I've come here to ask you nice folks to help out in anyway if you can by helping to sponsor and/or purchase GSSS merchandise which is newly added for 2009.

We raised $85 for EDGE with the first Event's 50/50 raffle, and we hope to do better at Event #2 which will feature one of the top disc golfers in the country - AVERY JENKINS - competing against most of the top players in Georgia.
I'm hoping to raise EXTRA funds for EDGE with some special discs to be auctioned off at Event #2.

Avery Jenkins shoots a course record 50 to win by one over Kevin McCoy.

We had players from 5 states PLUS Georgians represented in the field.

We raised almost $200 for EDGE today, with a couple of Avery Jenkins and Kevin McCoy signed limited edition discs, and the 50/50 raffle.

Next Event is May 9th at Deerlick Park which has been sold out for weeks, and Event #4 goes on sale at 12:01 AM April 11th. Come check out what the GSSS is all about!
