Is a person who just got off a 1 year suspension immediately on probation, or with that amount of time served are they back to square 1 of the discipline trail?
From the DISC-a-pline thread:
"Fourth infraction: One year suspension from board. 3 month probation after suspension.
Future infractions: repeat fourth infraction notice"
After your 3-month "repeat offender" probation are you back @ square one?
I doubt it. Your past record will haunt you forever! :-(
Good luck

Do what I do: put the jerks and losers on ignore. No one can bait you if you are ignoring them.

It kind of matters because a moderator is baiting me, and I want to know if I can defend myself or if I have to go back into the cave for another 3 months.
Ewwwww. Dirty Moderator play. Kind of reminds me of when one of The_Moderator s went digging through age old posts in order to find something worth probing me for. He was successful. He probed me, then he bragged to his Pennsylvania friends about it. Grow up.

The other thing you can do is join discgolfersr.us and ignore this whole message board. This place is dead. It has three active threads in a busy week. And two of them are about whining about the PDGA. Discgolfersr.us is the national message board now.

Don't have to many meaningful discussion here without me...
I don't think you really have to worry about that one. There's more trolls here than in Moria.

I think Discgolfreview.com has been the national alternative for similar topics to this D-Board. Discgolfersr.us is more like a stream of consciousness thread where it's harder to jump in any time and find discussions organized so you can find what you might be interested in.

If you want disc talk the discgolfreview is nice but not when it comes to talking about the org.

How about this one?
Matt,
A recent post of yours was reported by a message board user for violation of PDGA DISCussion Board rules and has been edited. Please note that this is the *exact* same offense for which you were suspended in January 2008 for. While no new rules are being introduced to this scenario, and past precedence should dictate that you receive probation for this offense, we are offering the courtesy of a warning that a next offense may result in probation of your account. If you would like to appeal this decision, please contact Brian Graham, the PDGA Executive Director. He can be reached at: BGraham@pdga.com
Regards,
PDGA DISCussion Board Moderating Team
It looks like they somehow did me a favor by warning me since I did the same thing a year ago. OMG I don't know who actually thinks the is a Personal attack yet BDH gets away with calling me names that actually are offensive.

Oh and when I appealed to Mr. Shive I got a no-go even though I never received my Probation notice when it happened last time so I went straight to being suspended with no warning.
Thanks PDGA, good ole boys no need to worry though.

[Per the Executive Director, personal attack removed]
So how am I supposed to appeal to the ED when he is the guy who made the decision himself?

I guess its because Lag was the one who reported the post himself so he couldn't also handle the decision of deciding if it was an attack or not.
Pretty thin-skinned if you ask me.

He's done it before . . . (http://discussion.pdga.com/msgboard/showflat.php?Board=Other%20PDGA%20Topics&Number=78 2976&Searchpage=0&Main=768287&Search=true&#Post782 976)

Guru used to post worse stuff, back in the OLD MSDGC threads, stuff that had anyone else posted it they would have gotten perma banned, whereas obviously nothing happened to him

nope. its that we need to keep certain Paid Volunteers happy because no one else in the whole wide world could possibly do anywhere near as "good" as they do.

true leaders (and wise men) listen carefully to those with whom they disagree. they are capable of putting aside their own feelings because they know everyone has some value. weaker wannabes brag about their extensive ignore lists.

Well since he is ignoring us I realize why he couldn't cut it as the ED. Then again he must have the qualities of a BOss. I just haven't found the positives yet.

I will say I am glad that we now have BG as opposed the what we had before because at least BG seems to be somewhat polite and cares about the issues and even if I disagree with them he doesn't act like a 4 year old.
