NO PAYOUT!!! All money collected will be given to charity (The Animal Defense League of Texas) and Non Perishable foods collected will be given to The San Antonio Food Bank.
There will be a Raffle, CTP and cool fun games.

For those that played in this event last year you know this is a blast. This event is also a great warm up for the Texas State Doubles and World Doubles.

This event is a great tune up for World Doubles only 5 weeks later. Bring your partner to McClain and test your might in one of the most fun ice bowls around.

Bird - What format will be used for the tourney?

The defending champs from the open division last year will be showing up. Any need to preregister?

It will most likely be Best Shot 1st Round and Best Shot Off Tee then Altenate 2nd Round. Same as last year. I will add the Champs to the players list.

If any of y'all want to get some McClain practice in prior to the real deal come on out to our Saturday minis. Sign up by 9:15 each Saturday. Current Ace Pot* stands somewhere in the $275 range :o.

Did I mention Independence Brewing Co. has donated 3 cases of their fine beers for the players and TD's to enjoy? :D:cool:

Innova has donated 100 Mini Drivers for the Long Distance Competition to be held at lunch. We will have 50 SADC Ice Bowl T-Shirts to give away to the players. Same as last year....first 50 players to sign up get a T-Shirt. I am not going to save any shirts for anyone so this can be as fair as possible. If you don't get a shirt we'll hook you up with some raffle tickets. Please also bring non pershisable food items for the food drive benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank. Hope to see everyone there. :)

What's the best shot doubles course record at McClain?

I believe last years best score at the Ice Bowl was a 45 (-9). Someone will shoot better this year. The 1st Place Trophies for each division are Custom Dyed Ice Bowl Champs Star Discs...they look pretty sweet (Thanks Greg). I heard someone say we are giving away a car for a hole in one....NOT TRUE!!! :( Although I did try to get someone to donate one but it DID NOT happen. It's still going to be a fun day of disc golf and we all are going to be able to help out the charities. The first 50 People who sign up and pay will get an Ice Bowl T-Shirt and everyone will get a goodie bag. There's going to be a raffle with a basket, ring of fire, CTP's and Mini Driver Long Distance Competition (100 to give away). Don't forget to bring non perishables for the San Antonio Food Bank. If you have anything to donate for the raffle, please bring it the morning of. See everyone next Saturday. :)

SADC Ice Bowl T-Shirts to the first 50 players signed up and also 100 Mini Drivers for the first 100 players signed up. Bring some non-perishable food items for the San Antonio Food Bank. WOW!!! What a great turnout (44 Teams / 88 Players ) and what a great fundraiser for the Animal Defense League of Texas. We were able to raise $2259.00 for them. Thanks to all sponsors, players, helpers, etc;. Without you all we would not be able to do things like this. Hope to see everyone again next year. I'll post the winners now and all other scores in a day or two (I'm tired). Thank Again!!!
