Call all of your disc golf friends, fellow club members and family and tell them to tune in to PDGA.com at 8:00pm EST tonight (Tue. Dec. 16th) for Disc Golf Network coverage of the Tupelo Bay Open.

The 2008 Tupelo Bay Open was contested on Dec. 13-14, 2008 in Myrtle Beach, SC and the Disc Golf Network was there to capture all of the action for PDGA TV. Tune in to PDGA.com on Tuesday night December 16th at 8:00pm and again at 11:00pm EST for complete coverage of the event brought to you by Innova Champion Discs, Revolution Disc Golf Bags, and ClashDVD.com.

Each year, the Tupelo Bay Open provides a top notch ball golf style disc golf course event in a beautiful and professional setting. Year round the Tupelo Bay Resort has a short 9 hole pay-to-play course at the entrance to the park, but it doesnt compare to the experience that the Tupelo Bay Open course provides.

Now in its fourth year, this tourney has been won by the likes of Barry Schultz (2005) and Brian Schweberger (2006-2007). Avery Jenkins will make the trip to the carolina coast this year in a bid to overpower the competition and win his first Tupelo title. Check out the video promo on the front page of the website and be sure to check back to PDGA.com on Tuesday, Dec. 16th for full video coverage of the event. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy disc golf as it was meant to be, straight from the Grand Strand.

This website video production is a pilot project so that we can assess the viability of future broadcasts so support the cause with your presence. Special thanks to Billy Crump and ClashDVD.com for making this project possible.

You're posting youtube videos... what do you mean by tune in at 8 and at 11? Can't it be watched over-and-over whenever?

Can ANYBODY answer for me why some Youtube vids they posted are being listed as "airing" at 8 and 11? It makes no sense. Kudos to finally catching up and getting some cool video coverage up, its one thing that disc golf needs is coverage of top players and this is a great step in this direction... but why advertise it as something it is not?

Or better yet why not use Justin.TV's technology (as the Vibram did) to ACTUALLY AIR IT at the appropriate times, and wait say.... 48-72 hours before putting it up as an archived video as a way of enticing people to watch it when you air it.

either they wanted to broadcast it somehow at a single moment, or they wanted to track how many people would actually 'tune in' at 8 and 11 to watch something, they could track the hits on that page. or maybe its more of a game of simon says?

Simon says... view it at 8! Or 11! If you view it some other time... YOU LOSE THE GAME.

"Billyism"

or wait, does he call it a "Crumpism"?

It could also be referred to as:

"Crumpology"
"Crumpese"
or better yet...
"Crumpian"

Definitely "Crumpian"

:-)

Now maybe he was saying "super cilias" putts which could possibly mean particularly hairy putts, although I would lean more toward putts with a lot of wiggle room. :p
