OK... I have to ask. What's a Night Shift Destroyer?

From Dave D.

"We are doing our first tests of the stabilizing process on Destroyers, which will be available in very limited quantities Friday at discgolfvalues. There will be something around 200-300 at max weight in night shift blue. All proceeds will go to a local non-profit. I would appreciate any feedback from those who purchase these discs. Our initial tests were excellent."

I'll let you know how they compare after the weekend. We should have 20 - 30 mph winds here(as usual) so I should be able to tell any differences real quick.

Anyone get theirs yet?

I received mine yesterday, i'll try them out on lunch today. They kinda look like the newer domey cfr champion destroyers, but in star plastic. Those champ ones are overstable so i'm hoping for the same result but in a gripper plastic.

What is the deal with Innova's 'nightshift' blue? Does it change colors in lower levels of light?

Yes, they show the entire spectrum...but only when conditions are pitch black.

Is that a joke? In that case, you'd be wrong. Black (i.e. pitch black) is the abscence of color. White is the result of entire spectrum of colors.

Yes its a joke, it actually refers to the night shift at the innova factory.

So who's thrown one and how stable are they, some one has to have thrown one by now.

I threw one on Friday. It was much more stable than my stock destroyers, both Pro and Star. I did not have much wind to speak of, so I can't comment on how they will fly in windy conditions. However, here in Oklahoma, the wind coming up is just a matter of waiting a day or two. I'll let you know more when we get a little wind. For now, I'll just say it was more stable in calm conditions throwing sidearm. I generally throw my destroyers about 350 to 375 on a good day just to let you know I am not a big arm thrower.

I found that these NS destroyers are more stable than any of my other destroyers. I threw them a bunch of times into the wind in different directions and they seemed to do the same thing regardless of wind, which is go far then finish left (RHBH) It was excellent for forehands too. Me likes
