ATTN WOMEN: At this event, you'll receive 2 bag tags... one standard Funkytown tag and a separate women's tag. This is at no extra cost to you! This will allow us to have separate female bag tag challenges throughout the year. Come on out and support Funkytown on January 1st!

Also, player's meeting is at 10AM!

Heidi, this is a great idea! If you are at all interested in sending some of those ladies-only bag tags with me, I'll distribute them at my events. We'll talk more at the Hangover Classic :)

Due to extenuating circumstances involving the City of Fort Worth, we will need to supply our own baskets for the Hangover Classic. We plan to pull 8 baskets from North Park and we have 2 more portables promised to help us out.

We need at least 8 more baskets to make the Hangover classic happen. Can anyone offer their basket up for one day to help us out? Please call me at 817-845-8459. We would need your basket by Wednesday evening. and you would get it back after the tournament on Thursday.

Thanks!

If BigE can bring John's basket, then I believe we are set.

For those that are bringing baskets, please either get in touch with me to bring them by my place on Wednesday night or bring them the morning of the Classic to the park by 9am.

Thanks everyone for the offers!!

Can anyone help transfer the 8 from North Park on Wednesday?

Bye, Buy, Bi, or By?

It fits in my Altima SE. The base and pole have become married over the years, they are inseperable. Throw the basket and the chains in your trunk and play a little Tetris until the Base&Pole are in the car with you.

You guys are more than welcome to it. Plus at least a part of me will be there. :D

Give me a call BigE!

If the Disc Catcher polls will fit in your sleeves, I have 6 baskets in my garage someone could pick up and bring back to me. (Shane Powers has the other 3 right now)

I use to have bases for all of them, but never got them back from the Dallas Disc Golf club a few years ago.

anyone can call me at 214-674-9516

I will not be able to attend due to work and family commencements.

Michael, I have two Mach III's that I can bring.
Also, I can help move some of the baskets from North Park but I have to work on Wednesday so it will be late before i can do it. We can probably get six or seven in my truck, just have to see.
Let me know what you still need help with when you get a chance.

Dave, if you can bring them that would be great for backups just in case. I will call up on Wednesday to figure out the move. Brandon and I will be in charge of that.

Pizza, thanks for the offer! I'm not sure about the sleeve sizes. But it looks like we have plenty of baskets at this point. I will give a call if things change.

Thanks everyone for the great support!

Thanks Steve!

Yes, that was quite an experience. First off many thanks to all who helped make this event possible. Those who brought baskets, those who helped with the tournament, and everyone for being patient while we handled the turnout.

We were expecting 50, maybe 60 at most. So there were definitely some challenges. We made some mistakes here and there, but I hope everyone had a good time and enjoyed playing the new course. We will carry our lessons learned to the next event.

Special thanks again to Backwoods for sponsoring the event.

Congrats to the winners!!

1st Place Women: Stacia Pearce

hole 12 has a WONDERFUL fairway! one of the best fairways anywhere. the only problem is the trees still in the middle of it. once those are carefully and selectively removed, hole 12 is gonna be a classic.

How did your Feet fare? I was blooded and had long pants one, guess I need to stay in the fairway, sometimes that didn't matter. Can't wait to play the course again.

I added experimental funky round ratings to the scores. I haven't tried the algorithm on many data sets yet....so....be careful to not take them seriously. :D
