( I have put the pickle juice "PJ's" sponsor, massage theorapist(s), and silent bid on hold til next year because of my crazy date changing problems. This lowers the entry fee by 10 dollars!)
Please fill out a comments card when you leave the event so I know what to add and to drop for the next 100 holes which will be right after new years!

If this is a PDGA sanctioned event how can all ams play in one division?

It will have to be an XC, OR all ams will be designated Adanced.

Just Called PDGA to confirm, in the Competition Manual you will see...
"It is up to the TD's Descretion whether or not a division is taken out as long as it is advertised that way"
In other words the divisions will be like an NT or Worlds without all the points.

Easy, good to hear from you. Glad you will be there man. Hope more ninja's will be there because after all we are ninjas and we train for these kinda things.
Hey I am in cancun right now and the weather is awsome. Its cloudy and windy but the temp is still awsome. I chuncked brand new blow fly in the ocean today and its gone forever! Oh well, at least I still have my mini drivers. Going to the ruins and going to play some mini object golf. wanted to play with the fly but looks like that idea is long gone. The darn thing floats but the current pulled it out to the sea.
Since the market is cheep here I think I may take it upon myself and buy some cool prizes for the tournaments.

Thank you to the people that have already signed up on titledisc.com
I feel better about this one now. Some of the ninjas have already stepped up to the challenge and I hope to see some lady golfers there to. Oh! and where have the pro's been?
I know its still early and everyone needs time to think about devoting their entire day to disc golf but I would like for someone to post and say they will be there like easye did because I have to pay for the food in advance with my own money and hope the orders match up with players. Please just give some type of confirmation for me.
Thanks so much everyone. \
PS. since I am in cancun I can't check my voicemail or call anyone. Just leave me a message at 512-296-9145 and I will check it on friday at 3pm when I return.
Again, thanks for a great year and I hope to serve you better in the new year!

Is 7:30 going to be to early for everyone to start?
I can extend it to 8:30 but we will have to play at a quick rate.
Remember to drink lots of water and eat lots of protein and carbs two days before the tournament.
Like the doubles I will be having some games out at TPCC. These are TBA but will be aimed towards the spontanious open so I hope your skills are good.

D, &:30 would be fine for a start out there. I was just mad privy to the information that Sunday is the winter solstice. That means that it will officially be the shortest day of the year. FYI We are going to have to play an a.s.s. load of holes really quickly. I think the games thing might be out of the question, not just for time but for my arm's sake. haha

Last Night there was some talk about the way the payout was being handled for the trophy only tournament.
Here's the deal. With 11 people, all the entry fee's listed will even out but we only ended up with 8 AMs so I charged an extra 5 dollars to cover the cost of the sanctioning and trophy shortage.
8 AMs = 320 dollars
10x8 Mini Basket Trophy Fee
12x8 Breakfast and Lunch
5x8 Charity Fee
2x8 PDGA Fee
5x8 TPCC Fee
1x8 Tournament Fee
5x8 Extra to cover trophy and sanction fee
= 320 dollars
Now <<<Zack Doggett>>> I think after 100 holes you were a little confused about the price you were paying. It was all in writing and if you don't like the way things run just try and run one all by yourself and see how far you get. You think its easy doing all this Tournament directing, going to school part time and working a full time professional job? I think not! So don't try and give me a bad rap when it was all on paper. OH, and this tourney was a pre register tourney only but I let things slide all the time. Like me losing money at every tournament I host just so I can help out my fellow golfers. Its hard to do it all, all by yourself but there just isn't enough volunteers out there willing to pitch in for me.
For the record I never skimmed any money off this tourney!
The 35 dollar entry fee rolled up to 40 because of the shortage of players.

The same goes for the pro's payout. I know its supposed to be 100 percent payout but this was a charity event and you should read what fees will be involved.
Alex Downs was the only Pro to show up so Jose Perez and I stepped up and made it official so Alex could play.
Alex was upset that he won 1st place out of 3 players (including himself) and only received 70 dollars back.
I increased the entry fee for the Open because there were only three of us and no one disagreed.
It was the end of the day and I was exhausted and had no help handling anything so I shorted Alex his 35 dollars he paid towards payout. He should of received 105 dollars total buy when you minus his entry he only made 70. This was my mistake and I am forever sorry for that Alex. The next time we see one another we will settle up.
