New Date is: June 6-7, 2009

The date on the current PDGA schedule is May 9-10, but as most of you know (and now I do) that is Mothers Day weekend, so it has been changed to June 6-7. Sorry for any inconvenience. I did want to get this notice out as quickly as possible so people can make the change on their calendars and hopefully a few more of you can attend.

This is the 10th Anniversary of the tournament and is always one of the best in our region. Check our payouts over the years - we do good.

I was wondering when this one would hit the schedule. Now I have to figure out if I can schedule some training in Cincy the week before or the week after!!!! :D

its getting close. There aren't too many tourneys at Idlewild and this is a good one. Plus the stamp is really cool this year.

Banklick. 2 rounds of 24 holes on a great course Saturday
Idlewild. 2 rounds from the Longs Sunday 18 holes Pro Par 72 'nuff said

Pros play the above; Am.s flip flop courses/days.

Idlewild is the course your mama warned you about ;)

If it's a mark of a good tournament that the guy who finishes last had a good time, then the Disc n' Dat Bluegrass Open certainly qualified. Idlewild and the "Course Formerly Known as Banklick" were in great shape and true tests. Don Bayless and all the folks were super - and the pro-grandmaster group was kind enough not to laugh too much as I stumbled through the last round.

Loved it - every shot (except maybe that long, long, long, roll-off down number 5's hill into the OB (for the second time).

Thanks to all,

Chuck Wharton

Great looking courses. Next year can the AM's do 2 and 1? I'm still trying to recover from the beating I took for 4 rounds!

Come on Jason...you know 36 holes at Idlewild and 48 holes at Banklick aren't enough in 48 hours...you want MORE!!!! Heh....it was taxing...just think...I played 48 holes at Banklick on Saturday...we played 16 long and 21 upper both rounds....and then went to work for 12 hours....then drove straight to Idlewild and played 36 holes with NO SLEEP. Yea..I was exhausted....but man was it fun.

Next year...play Open....because we were done by 5pm both days.
