I would like to know why a PDGA elected state rep is allowed to bash clubs in his own state just because they didn't want to run a tournament that he wanted them to. Our message board has been bombarded with slander and bashing that is certainly going to effect what any current or hopeful sponsors think of our club if they check it out.

And so now Ray makes it become a national issue, in a vain attempt to try to further humiliate me. I hope people *do* go check that link out and see for themselves how I have been the one slandered and bashed. It's absolutely disgraceful the way I've been treated.

I stand behind all my actions.

And some people wonder why volunteers are driven out of our sport at record clips.

are you saying that Ray is vain, or that the attempt to further humiliate you is in vain? dont worry too much - i couldnt find a PA States thread, so its gonna be hard for this to become a "national issue".

Had to quit reading it after a page or two. Such draaaaaaaaaama

You guys need to quit loving hating each other - or quit having to have the last word or something. It's just not worth it. Whoever is the first to leave it alone will be the one to make it go away.

If so many people are unhappy with Jeff, whether or not he is right or wrong, then why doesn't some run against him for State Coordinator / why doesn't someone who runs against him win?

Good question, MTL.

The spot was vacant last year and so I volunteered for it. I probably should have figured out that there was a good reason why that was the case.

I sure know better now. :(

Maybe when the time comes, somebody will. But to answer your "good question" he has another year on his term and its not time for elections.

HEY!! GOOD ANSWER! GOOD ANSWER! :D

Well, the silver lining here is that based on Ray creating this thread and his repsonse that "Maybe when the time comes, somebody will" it can be assumed that Ray will run for the position come next July. And given Ray's 20+ year history in the sport and his connections around the state of Pennsylvania, I can think of no better person for the job - you definitely have my vote. The PA State Coordinator position will be in excellent hands, and there will be at least one local club which you'll be able to have a functional working relationship with, where I could not. So thanks for stepping up, Ray!
