It was getting late and Sprague, Peckham, myself and our DD loaded up in the Innovan to grab some Dennys and go home. Well, Dennys turned out to be a mess- we werent served for 25+ minutes and then when we finally put an order in, the time kept passing and our food was no where to be seen. Wed been sitting around for over an hour. Our table was divided; Peckham and the DD were ready to head out while Sprague and myself wanted to wait it out. Next thing I know, the Innovan is pulling away without Sprague and me. With no ride and no cabs to be seen, we walk the mile or 2 back to the Longbranch. By this time, the bar is closed and parking lot nearly empty. All of a sudden I hear brakes screeching and see a car wildly whip into the parking lot. Without looking, Sprague turns to me and says, That has to be Anthon and Rico. Sure enough, Josh Anthon and Steve Rico pull up to us and start chatting with Sprague. Sprague tells them our story and they agree to give us a ride to Peckhams. After relying on my GPS all week, I was pretty clueless to where we were going so it was up to Sprague to navigate us. After one of the crazier rides of my life and a bunch of wrong turns and E brakes, we finally made it. With that said, Anthon and Rico are two stand-up guys; I definitely owe them a favor.
***anyone reading this that knows Rico and Anthon could have come up with the same conclusion that night in the parking lot...oh that wonderful e-brake!*****
Good story Dana - Congrats!

Oh man,
Sounds like Am Worlds 2002 in Miami. Joy Williams, Eric Knauer, Bryan 'Pimpy' Yondolino and I go into a Denny's, are seated, and wait about 15 minutes for a waitress. Place an order and 20 minutes later they put some of the food up under the heat lamps where we can plainly see it. Another 45 minutes (!) go by and we flag down some random waitress about our food. She brings us 1/2 our food and we immediately complain that it's the stuff that's been cooking under the heat lamps all that time. She denies it. We all look at each other, incredulous, and after she leaves to go get the rest of our food, we all get up and leave.
Don't think I've been back to a Denny's since.

Dana learned the first thing I found out about 'fast' food once I moved down south... there is no such thing as fast food.
