I am hopeful that WE can make this a good event. There has been over 1500 man hours given to this effort by fireman, policeman, banks, tulsa parks and rec., and many, many more volunteers. This is a great resource to discgolfers whose home is in Tulsa, Owasso, Sand Springs, Sapulpa, and other surrunding communities. Lets show our interest in making this cousre more accessable by participating in thid event. Kevin McCoy has put a lot of work into this couse as well as many others who donated time and resources. ITS TIME TO MOVE FORWARD, and add this course once again to debatably the greatest disc golf city in this region.

No debate here! Tulsa IS the best disc golf city in the U.S. as far as I am concerned and, TDSA is the best disc golf club, period. That's all I have to say about that. :D

Trust me, there is only room for one mountain in this town, and you don't want to deal with his Moose!

not sure where the canyon is at the west side y
anyway hopefully since kyle is getting this together he can get some of the OKC am crew to come and play

I wanted to take a seciond to thank Josh C and Paul D for coming out and volunteering on the course yesterday. We cut down about 10 trees with downed limbs (in the fairway) and preped the blue and white t boxes on the front 9. I will have a flyer out sometime later today with details of the event. As far as the name of the course. Copperhead _______ is fine with me (you can fill in the blank).

Its Copperhead Canyon and did you guys get the tree limbs on hole hole 6? They almost totaly blocked the fairway.

Penny and I rattled off a -10 yesterday...and the limbs were still on hole 6...but Kyle had not been out there yet...
We still birdied it.... :)

Hole six looks really good, the fairway is clear! And hole 7 is now marked as a clowns mouth with caution tape. If you miss it the whiite tee is the drop zone.

Course is in good shape. We finished complteting the white and blue t boxes today! With over a week to go before the event, it can only get better. 50 by Coda Hatfield is the best score on blue that I know of this season. I calling a 48 in the tournament for the hot round 1st round! (blue tees). It is a lefty course.....Devon should a a chance to kill it if shows.

Just a reminder that the YMCA course is located on a Nature Center. There is a firm policy that there is.....
NO SMOKING OR ALCOHOL ON THE PROPERTY!
The last thing we want to do is violate the YMCA's policy and lose access to the course. Thanks for your cooperation.
