does any of the local disc golf family have any experience with replacement transmission shops?
at 250000 miles it appears its time to replace the tranny in our old green beast.
any bad or good references would be well appriciated.

Check with Lesters Transmissions. They can probably recommend a good tech to help you.

... yes ... definitely ... call 227-3020 , Auto Transmission Specialists ... he's in Sapulpa (next to WalMart) ... just down the road from Kelly Lane Park ... when you talk to Carl , tell him Forest recommended them ... (no mention of "Wayne", please ... none of my auto-biz customers know my first-name ... only FOREST) ... they're honest and dependable ; and top-notch work ... they are what their name says they are ! ...

also , IF your transmission work involves a Dodge or Chrysler ; Kelly Colvin (disc golfer) is like a Master-Tech on those he works at East Tulsa Dodge when you call 663-6343 , ask for Ray Abbeduto (another disc-golfer) Ray is a Service Advisor there
