This is a cut and past from Wise from the other site.

[QUOTE]

I believe there is a workday scheduled for Mohawk on Saturday. We are making progress, starting yesterday we have a chainsaw crew and a bob cat with a grappler attachement. They strated working down the sides of BH 14, the tee area around 15, green area on 15 and they will be going down 16, the green area around 17 and the tee area around 18. They already spread the huge pile of mulch on hole 1.

What will we need for Saturday:
2-4 weed eaters - clean up the tee pads and clear a 33ft circle on each green.
Pole saw or pole chain saw: we just need to raise the ceilings and trim a few limbs.
Hole 4: trim up hanging limbs down the sides of the fairways.
Hole 7: trim up to the left of the green and behind the green.
Hole 8: weed eat the white fairway
Hole 10: clean up the ceiling from just past the pond to the basket.
Hole 12: trim up by the white tee pad and down the left side cut the ceiling back a little.
Hole 15: raise the ceiling a little at the turn going to the basket

All of this, with what the crew is doing now will make this course fantastic for the OO. The rough will still be ROUGH but the fairways are beautifull.

Thanks to anyone that can come out on Saturday and help. Bring gloves and bug spray.

If we can get a good crew out there it will go very fast and we can get a round in for our efforts.

Dave said he would be out @ 9

the ReGreen Tulsa program had good numbers of staff and volunteers out at Mohawk Park this past Saturday rows and rows of new shovels, rakes, and pick-axes trucks and trailers loaded with new, healthy trees signs, equipment, trucks, shirts, banners, embroidered-hats most-of-the-positions for the new trees had been scooped-out by the City and their heavy equipment Hinds and I dug-out and set-in about 8 or 9 of these new papershell pecans a few new-blisters and sore-muscles were well worth it proud to see some TDSA names and Club listed along with all-those-other-workers out there on the sign-in pages Zooc and his Forestry-Division are super-organized and really know how to get-it-done ! very impressive
.
later, Brad HOI and his welder-truck arrived we helped him re-weld, repair, and straighten some of the innova baskets and tee-signs on the RedHawk course then into the BlackHawk woods for more trimming and clearing-of-debris saw Wise, Wagle, the Taylor-Lodge-crew, and several-others primping the Course diligently that place is now looking very-good overall !

 Mohawk Rocks , again ! ! !

was it just 8 or 9 trees, my muscles and blisters were saying more like 15-20. But then again the only lifting i do now days is 12 oz. @ a time. Still felt good to sweat a little bit doing a community service withouth the LAW looking over my shoulder, LOL.
