have the local players peaked in on this site?
the site appears to have some great possibilities.
i believe that the 5000 plus member to the site are showing that they are not married to this pdga site. This should bring better quality to both sites as competition increases quality is soon to follow. :D :D :D

Sorry. Big brother at work won't let me go to that site. Something about that site being considered a "beastiality" site. I understand why Wise goes there but I didn't know some others of you were into the sheep thing.

Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm into the animal thing too. I'm just sad that I can't go there during working hours. There's always night time though and with a little liquid courage I'm sure I'll have alot to say on there also. :)

Wise just informed me that he will no longer be posting on the PDGA board because they can't seem to keep this board up and running. He definitely seems to be burned out. I agree with him but this is all I have during the day. :(

I hate seeing the Tulsa players spliting into divisions like this but maybe it's for the better. Now it's going to be like PC vs Mac but I'm sure people, if they really want to know something, will check out both sites.

With Wise gone though, so goes all his comic trash talk here, though I will show up at the other site and rebutt his comments at night. :D

He has also told me that once the Owasso course is complete he will no longer be traveling south of 11th street to play. I will miss him giving me crap at the Chandler mini's but there's always Duff. /msgboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Dave Wise is a good guy and I hope someday he returns to battle. Until then, I am now King of all I survey!!! ;)

I'm not ready to bale on this site yet but, I would sure like to voice my disgust at the performance, length of down time and new format. If they wanted to change systems, how about doing it in January when not much is going on? Now we have teams that may be interested in our team event that may not know how to chase the thread. I used to use the membership feature on the old menu bar at the top to identify owners of lost discs we have found here at the lodge, now I can' even find that site. Probably some young smartazz with attitude tho't he was setting the world on fire by changing everything around but there are enough of us old guys still around that don't like young guys complicating our lives. As soon as I learn how to navigate better on the other site I will spend less and less time on the PDGA site. Looks to me like a revolution may be in the offing due to poor management decisions at the top of the PDGA.

I think that the PDGA "managers" decided to get the forum function back up and are still working on fixing (and updating?) the rest of the site after the hack a week ago...here is a pic (or link...depending on how it comes out) of the hackers tag...I apologize in advance for any blue words shown on this hackers tag... :) <font color="green">...revised the link to the PG rated link...didn't want to get booted!</font>
