A reverse view of hole 15 at Deer Lakes Park near Pittsburgh, PA. This 18-hole course opened in fall of 2006 and features a wonderful variety of hole design which takes advantage of the diverse terrain throughout this beautiful county park. The modern-day par-66 layout will challenge golfers of all skill levels and players are offered the option of three different tees to choose from: Blue (975-rated); White (900-rated); Red (850-rated). How much added cash for the Open division?

According to the 2008 PDGA Tour Standards (http://www.pdga.com/documents/2008/08TourStandards.pdf), a B-tier is now required to add a minimum of $500 added cash to the pro division(s).

A reverse view of hole 16, a challenging par 4 dog-leg design which is one of my favorite holes on the course. The tee(s) are not visible in this image as they are tucked back into the woods. The blue tee is the most interesting as it presents the player with two significantly different routes to choose from. One might think this fairway appears somewhat flat by looking at this image.....click here (http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc184/gotcherj/DSC02109.jpg) for a better angle on the elevation rise toward the green(s). The basket pictured is the A-pin.....for this weekend's event, this basket will be pushed backward into the C-pin location. A birdie 3 on this hole will definitely stand out on the scorecard. :)

it will be challenging. with all the elevation, two rounds in one day can take its toll. but you wont think about that because the course is too friggin awesome!
