Austin has officially set some records this year for the disc golf community and the first record set is that we (Austin) have had more people traveling in Texas to play tourneys than any other city in TEXAS. So what up TEXAS.

We are making history by making the first ever C-Tour in Austin. We make two C-Tiers in one weekend and we are currently on our third one this year. "WE" meaning Brother Leon and Super D. That's right dudes, and the next C-Tour is going to be worth 8 ratings. YES EIGHT! The hundred holes of HELL plus The Mclain Open in San Antonio.

Brother Leon and I have had some unforgettable company with us along the way:

We would like to thank...Walley Gator, Lead Pipe, ProPutt and THE MOON.

Thanks to these folks we were able to afford the GAS and have the best company around!

Really though, every C-Tour is a TRIP and I encourage all cities to get on board and do the C-Tour.

See you at Teams everyone!

Any body wanna do it??? Do you have what it takes, if not then sign up the the TINMAN competition at TPCC for a chance to become the tinman champion.

The challenge will be 18 holes of golf in the morning and a match of ping pong and billards in the afternoon and washers to establish a winner.

Stay tuned to the C-Tour link for more detail on these crazy TPCC events!!!!!

Shawshank is wickedly fun and a nice change of pace. The DuFrane's cook up some tasty viddles too.

Strongly recommend joining the tour. I know I'll be there Saturday.

What? No camping for you? Its not Moody's but I bet its still nice.

Is there a burn ban over there? Is there a lake or pond to fish on?

What's this jail hole I keep hearing about?

Hey everyone don't forget about signing up for Waterloo on Sunday, I am!

I will have applications ready for everyone!

Here are the other events on the horizon where you can join the club

I have La Fiesta at Bartholomew Park this weekend,
100 holes of hell Dec 13th - hopefully Wells Branch (Zilker fell through)

and

Second to Last Chance and Last Chance on Dec 31st - Pease Park

Thats right, two C tiers on New Years Eve and the entry fee(s) will be very affordable. That way you can play that day and party that night in A Town with all the UT gals/guys running wild!

So what do ya say?

Camping? Like that would be the third weekend in a row. I think my boyfriend would like kill me if I don't spend this weekend in my bed at home. As I will be back at Circle R next weekend for teams.

The ponds, not sure about fishing, but I would bring your equipment anyway.

As for burn bans, I would think that the rain we've been getting all this week would have been enough to cancel it if there was one. (not sure)

The Ninjas are getting pumped up people. I played at lunch and was sinking putts from 60-90ft out! Feeling HOt right now! Hope I don't cool down before tomorrow.

Note to self: bring hand warmers for a.m. putting game

Looks like ADV will have the biggest turnout!!!

I hear the best way from austin is to go 79 to hearne then go south on 6 to 150 across to 45. I'm lost already.

The C Tour is when you go on a road trip and hit two c tiers in one weekend. Next year its B tiers. You see, I host a tourney one day on the weekend and we travel to a different city for another. We've gone to Rockwall, Houston, and Huntsville.

The B tiers will be one day b tiers. I would recomend tagging along because its cheaper this way! The best part is you only have to drive once. Hell I know of some that never drove at all.

The La Fiesta Open was thrown together rather fast. My dog Belle was hurt a couple weeks ago when she was kicked by one of my horses. Knowing I had to put her down, I decided to go forward with the tourney and have it in her memory. We are raising money for the humane society. (Where I got belle)

I take it you've never played BART. Its not nice, it doesn't smell good and the scenery is horrible but the course plays BAD ***!!!! The grass is high in places and the water in nasty enough to keep almost anyone from going in it. Oh and the baskets are from the 80's. Have your attention yet?

Despite the quality of the course, Austin loves this place because of the elevation and all the OB. Its close to UT and downtown area.

This course is not worth advertising about. I am happy to say that the UT disc golf club has put it on top of there to do lists for improvements.

So does that answer you question....hope so.

PS - ANYONE WHO PLAYS BART, PLEASE BRING SOME DOG OR CAT FOOD, TOYS OR WHAT EVER YOU CAN FOR DONATIONS!!! THANKS!!!

well how did it go, i got to drunk to drive down and play. scores?

Well, I believe we had less people at the La Fiesta Open than at the local mini's. This had to be the most relaxing tournament in history!

Well, we found a new place to chill at Bartholomew Park. We made some extra holes that were 500+ and put one basket on a 20 foot bridge. It was dry at the bottom so if you landed under the bridge you were getting a 4 for sure. The locals loved the temporary positions to.

Scores:

OPEN

Anthony Daman 53+56 109
Jose Perez 56+59 115
Hugh Pickett 59+59 118

ADVANCED
Mike Graham 55+53 108 Won in playoff
John Ledesma 54+54 108 Aced hole 9 on first round
Matt MacLane 55+55 110
Leon Gillard 54+57 111 Aced hole 6 on second round
Eric Goete 59+60 119
Daniel Temple 63+67 130 DFL AGAIN!

Thanks again for the time and effort you're putting in, Super D. And great work getting the scores up so quick.

I'll start spreading the word about Last Chance at Pease!
