I'm sure everyone has seen this site, but if you haven't, go check it out. There are reviews for MOST of our local courses. I got a kick of some of the reviews. Some of these guys must have been sleeping when the ice storms went through. freaking putz's
Pretty cool idea, if they could prevent the average idiot from submitting a review. just wow :p

Played: 6 Reviewed: 6 Pros: It's a beginner's course, yet fun to play.Cons: There's some construction going on at hole 14, and someone stole 15's basket!Other Thoughts: I can't believe they stole the basket! It wasn't even that nice of a basket.

Played: 8 Reviewed: 8 Exp: 0.5 Years Pros: Concrete tees, well maintainedCons: definitely a course to start on I.....If you are not a beginner I would not waste my time going to this course, unless you are looking to easily sink your first ace, I was able to drive my putter past most of these holes I thought it was a bore
Furdog needs to get on there & give it a review about the reviewers ;)

I have sent my cousin Guido to take care of those guys. I don't think they will be reviewing anything else for a long time. ;)

hmmm.........from the definite source of which courses are the best in Tulsa.......dgcoursereview.com :D
Kelly Lane
Pros: Course is a great challenge for being a 9 hole course. A great variety of shots that will keep you on your toes the entire time you play. Well kept and beautiful park. Nice signs and pads. Some of the most unique and amazing shots I have seen.
Other Thoughts: This course has the greatest design of any 9 hole course I've played. There is a blind shot, a heavily wooded shot, and some water shots that will blow you mind.
Chandler Park.........
Cons: There's some construction going on at hole 14, and someone stole 15's basket!Other Thoughts: I can't believe they stole the basket! It wasn't even that nice of a basket.
Cons: Course is extremely short. Not much of a challenge. Other Thoughts: You have an opportunity to ace a lot of holes here. If your camping on the grounds or at the park anyways it would be fun to play a quick game but otherwise you might not want to go out of your way.
Cons: definitely a course to start on I.....If you are not a beginner I would not waste my time going to this course, unless you are looking to easily sink your first ace, I was able to drive my putter past most of these holes I thought it was a bore
It's on the internet in print so it must be true

Don't trust that review.
That's just Zook blowing his own horn. :o
There are some good shots out there but I'm mad because I don't know how to throw them. ;)
Until he has 73 people show up at one of his minis then he is nothing more than a mole on the backside of my success. :p :D

I wouldn't count on any hostile takeover. I think Standingbear is still PO'd about you choppin up the woods before Am Worlds and not coming though with the second course.
You can gripe all you want about the "pitch and putt" courses, but the money they consistantly generate for the club goes a long way at keeping the grass and weeds down at Mohawk when the city can't get off their butts. :p

By the way, Mohawk has been mowed again. Looks like they've been mowing it every week. Its pretty sweet watching the mower drive up and down hole 16 on black...and being done with the hole. The fairway is maybe 10ft wide. My advice...stay on the fairway. Very nice but extremely tight...(insert joke here) :D
