Hey there everyone,
Now that the TFO is over, our next event is the Stillwater Classic.
Due to decreased numbers in the last couple of years we have decided to shake the format and try something new...
TnT will be running two one days, Saturday singles and Sunday Doubles.
I think it is an easier way to get some people up to see Boomer Lake.
Speaking of courses, Hoyt Grove (a.k.a the other course in Stillwater) is NOT being maintained by the city any longer apparently so it will not be featured this year.
HERE (http://tinyurl.com/6ecsne) is the link to the flyer.
And here it is...

It looks like a few people to me...
We will have to check with Rob Davis to be sure...he told me it was some random picture he had from 06 Am Worlds...
...so it could be.
I think it also looks like Paul Dorries.

The Classic will be fun this year...
Come party all you want in a famous party town..
There is a campground pretty close and we are checking on a cheap hotel deal. Microtel shows a couple of locations but I think one is still under construction.
More info to come..
Players pack of course, lots of give aways..
Stillwater is an easy drive and since it is like two seperate one day tournaments you can decide which format you like, or try both, make the trip pretty cheap and be home for dinner..

Mr.'s TNT, I was planning to be in Stillwater and enjoy the fun you guys always provide. However, with my son's wedding only 2 weeks away, all my free time has been spent by the family with preparations for the event. :( :( Hopefully, you will continue next year and I'll be free to play. :) Hope all stays well, I know it will be a fun time and a great tournament. Thanks for your hard work. See you guys soon.

I think Boomer presents a level playing field.
I heard Coda say that since it is pretty much open, everybody has a chance to win..
You have two days to pick from, or do both. Singles and doubles, pick your format..
The disc arrived for the players packs and they look really nice.
The first 70 players are guaranteed a stamped tournament disc, everyone after that will receive a disc of equal value..
The weather is looking AWESOME!! Stillwater is a quick easy drive so please come out and support one of the longest running tournaments in the state.
We had a low turnout last year so lets turn this thing around!!

The course is looking great!!!
Bring your roller!
It was mowed maybe 2 days ago and the only thing stopping some crushes is the occasional pile of cut grass...
It's going to be a beautiful morning... :D

Thank you everyone...!
It is always fun to see everyone out playing.
I had a great time playing doubles with Penny and with all my friends from T-Town.
As always I have learned a thing or two about running a doubles event, but I think everyone still had a great time playing in the wonderful weather at one fun park.
Does anyone have a favorite hole?
As per Sunday I would have to say that I have a newfound appreciation for hole 14. The right handed dogleg...
Dave and I got a birdie the first round and we pulled an easy three in the alternate shot round.
Very happy. Great playing with Penny again, love the 60'+ birdies!
And it was a pleasure to tie two such great competitors, even though I was sorry to learn that Coda wasn't feeling well.

The feeling's are mutual Red. As fun as the birdies are, the par putt on 13 in alternate was probably my favorite...or the birdie on 1 in worst shot. :D;)
