The disc for today, September 8, is an unthrown 1999 Pro Worlds-stamped Elite APX. To throw your shot you need to Comment on the pertinent thread for today (Daily Jumbo Tosses for Cool Discs Starts Monday, September 8 for an Entire Month). There'll be a new one tomorrow, and the next day, and so forth.

This month of free discs leads up to a Giant Virtual Jumbo Toss / Ring of Fire for even more goodies, some time in October. Remember, you can't win if you're not in the game!

We're given a disc (or something equivalent) away every day since September 8, and the daily virtual Jumbo Tosses (Rings of Fire) continue. We think we'll have something daily right up until after Thanksgiving now, in order to support our seasonal motto: "Buy Disc Golf for the Holidays!"

Today's disc - http://www.discgolfersr.us/events/event/show?id=1809917:Event:1298009 - is an unthrown Crystal Z Challenger with a 2004 DGLO stamp on it. I think this was from the first batch of these discs; they are solid as a rock.

How do you participate? You join DGRUS (free, you need only provide an email address and select a password, we never share your email address) and then you use the built-in RSVP function in our Tournament Calendar for each day's Virtual Jumbo Toss to indicate that you might, you will, or you won't attend that day's event. The following morning, we run a random number generator and select whose toss was CTP!

And once you are a DGRUS member, you can make your own page, post on your own blog, use the forum, post tournaments and other events, share photographs (55,500+) and videos (2,000+), and more.
