Golfers-

I am doing a grad school speech on the effects of disc golf on the environment. It is a serious speech so I am hoping someone out there has some good information or a good like to some.

Disc golf is less obtrusive than most field sports. We need the trees as it is not as interesting in my opinion on an open field. Although big arms can take advantage of open space. If disc golfers could be encouraged to do more about our own carried in litter it would be better.

How much of an effect does our Worlds have on the environment when a few hundred golfers travel to play together? Bet we are a bit more frugal but we still have a rather larger carbon footprint than those that read a book and take a walk at home.
