Nice -- so I did a search of the PDGA msg. board for info. on the distinction between "push putting" and "spin putting" but (and maybe I am a visual learner) still find it hard to visualize what the difference is. Is there by chance any videos (youtube or otherwise) that show the difference or players who exclusively "push putt" that I could watch so I could understand what Feldberg was talking about?

The following youtube video shows a lot of different push putt styles, as well as some obvious spin putts(watch Burl nail the 80 footer).

Dave referring to his preferred type of disc golf course:

So I dont prefer a bunch of short birdie courses because I feel like if I shoot a good round I should be near the top. Some places you go and shoot 30 under for the weekend youre not even in the top 5. I dont like that usually. I like to have more of a par 4 mixture. I dont want the extreme where its par 4 par 5 - par 72 overall - thats a little extreme.

I think we made the mistake in disc golf trying to copy ball golf where they have 10 par 4s, 4 par 5s, and 4 par 3s. I think the best disc golf course would be 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s, and 6 par 5s. In that sense we could start our own formula similar to theirs.

Uh, Dave: both the latter and the former are exactly the same: par 72. Your proposed formula of 6 par 3s, 6 par 4s, and 6 par 5s = par 72!

8:8:2 or 7:8:3 distributions are pretty good.
