1000rated.com is proud to announce that we are giving away free registration to one player for the Illinois Open (A-tier) in Rockford Illinois. The raffle does not cost anything, and all you have to do is go to http://www.1000rated.com/?p=66 and reply at the bottom of the page with your name, e-mail, and PDGA number before Thursday Aug 21st at 10PM EST (tonight!!!).

The raffle is open to players of all divisions and will run from Monday evening (August 18th) 2008 until Thursday August 21st 2008 at 10pm EST. We will draw from a hat on Thursday night and declare a winner by Friday morning the 22nd. Remember, if you are not already signed up, this is a great way to try and save some money and sign up for an A-tier. The Illinois Open is a 2 day tournament that will take place on September 6th and 7th, 2008 - Over $1800 has been raised so far for the pro purse, and while some details are still yet to be finalized here's what we know so far: Three courses on site at Anna Page using the existing East and West courses plus a temporary course for the weekend.

Players will be divided into pools based on division. Each pool plays two rounds on Saturday and two additional rounds on Sunday.

Part of Discontinuum disc golf club's annual IOS series, The Illinois Open promises to be an exciting event for all.
