I will be teaching the entire morning crew and it's veiwers the sport of Disc Golf. We will go live 12 minutes of each hour. I have assembled a demo team that will be filmed at Dolese Park and broadcast to OK fox viewers. It is my intent to educate the masses of our history, offer advice / lessons and info as to where they can play, volunteer or join the sport. I will be using this as an open call to all cities to add courses and opportunities. I appreciate your support in this media endeavour.

Once FOX puts it on their site they can track how many people watch it or click on the story. More clicks ='s more exposure in the future. Folks locally can make sure the course is in its usual prestine state of police.

I plan to take them all the way back to the Frisbee Pie Tin days and move forward from there. I am seriously contemplating breaking the glass on my Steady Ed display to get the original Disc Golf pamphlet out to show... I think we need to portray the whole journey... not just how to throw 300 feet. Any thoughts?

I am seriously pondering it... First ever Disc Golf pamphlet from DGA. Shows Ed's boys playing with floaters in the pics, covers course design and install... brief history etc. I will probably leave it protected on the wall... Thanks though... pimpin'

Hey joe , I have one of the Steady Ed ashes discs if you could get them to find the footage from "Ripley's Believe It or not" showing them making them You could take this one to show them. You did say you wanted to tell them everything about our sport. What other sport has the dead founder put into a piece of equipment so they can still play what they loved ? :D

Yep that was a pretty twisted move for sure. He always said when Frisbeetarians die their soul lands on the roof on the way to heaven" now it's the soul and the ashes.

FOX 25 moved the event to WEDNESDAY MORNING 6AM - 9AM

Great entertainment!!! Tina and I were figuring the host Lauren would wipe out on the #1 tee. Instead, she hit one of the trees that we frequent.

Gracias... it was fun. The Chick was cool enough and it was some great exposure. They even said "this weeks disc golf weather forecast coming up". Then the blonde chick in the studio threw her make up like a disc!!! LOL. I parked hole #1 going the lefty route over hole #2's area. Douglas busted a nice 18 footer on tape and bombed his first drive. Danielle had the mnost natural looking shot of the day with the Wasp up the middle. They invited us back so be looking here for just when. Thanks to the golfers that rolled thru while we were filming that saw it on the news... BIG thanks to the Maxfield family for getting up at 4 am to come out and help. HUGE thanks to the individuals responsible for the usual prestine trash free conditions there... and thanks to Duy at DMart. It was really saucy to get to give a way an IKICK for KICKER and showcase the many products realated to disc golf... twisted or not. They never knew we had it going on like we do! :D
