The 2008 Southern National Pro Championship is at the end of this month. Just wanted to get the info out to all the PDGA members that are qualifed for this tournament.

The Schedule link can be found below:
http://www.sndg.org/stats/event.php/800?detail=1

You need to have at least 2 SN points between 1Jun 07 and 31 May 08 to be qualified. You can check here if you're not sure, just make sure you are checking the 2007-2008 timeframe:

This is a C-tier PDGA tournament and I believe the last chance to qualify for the USDGC. We have 5 spots up for grabs.

This has historically been one of the best PDGA tournaments in regards to payout, with over $12k added so far. The entry fee is $80 for all divisions. The progress for this tournament can be found here:

Any questions can be directed to me here or email me at [email protected]

This event is listed as a B Tier on the USDGC qualifying info. How is it that a C Tier can be a USDGC qualifier? Or did you guys just decide to lower the sanctioning level to reduce the PDGA fees?

USDGC has had unsanctioned qualifiers in the past i believe (marshall st)- what impact should sanctioning level have in the eyes of USDGC? they are just looking for top notch events which by all accounts the southern nationals are.

lower fees and less restrictions on how you run your event are the reasons my events will stay c tiers, primarily the latter.
