Beginning Monday, 28 July, the Flagstaff course on the NAU campus will be closed temporarily for construction of new soccer fields. The construction will likely result in re-configuration of the course as some holes will be lost to soccer fields. During the interim, 9 holes will be set up at the old course. We have no firm date for when the constuction will be done and a newly configured NAU course will be playable. So, we're down to 3.5 courses in Flagstaff--Thorpe Park, McPherson Park, old NAU, and Snowbowl--in the interim. Still not too bad.

NAU is one of my favorite courses - it's on a college campus AND it's a pretty decent layout. It's a shame to hear you're losing some holes, and to a communist, Euro-trash sport, to boot. (All meant purely in jest!!) ;)

In the interim you should modify the entry in the on-line course directory for those folks who might come by looking for the current 18 holes.
