There will be workdays at the Elver Park disc golf course on the following days:

* Saturday, July 26, 2008
* Sunday, July 27, 2008
* Sunday, August 10, 2008
* Sunday, August 17, 2008
* Sunday, August 24, 2008
* Sunday, August 31, 2008

Each workday will begin at 9:30 AM. Work days will focus on weed whacking and path trimming. Roc will also need to be spread during some of the work days.

General preparation for these workdays include:
1. Appropriate tools (bring them if you have them.)
2. Work Gloves (can be provided)
3. Appropriate dress - long pants and long shirt will protect you from Poison Ivy.

21 tons (about 23 yards) of limestone screening is being delivered to Elver Friday morning.

Brad W and others will be at Elver Park Friday from 1 pm until 5 moving roc from hole 1 to tees 2, 9, and 18.

If you have a strong back come help. Shovel and gloves will help, some extra shovels and gloves will be on hand.

Other jobs are to clean up wacked weeds at various places on the course. Hole 9 is one hole in need of gathering brush. Pile it some where we can put it in a trailer. A pitch fork or hard garden rake works.

If some one has a mower, some tee areas need cutting. Standing areas for foursomes need to be made on pro tees.

So please stop out and help us get the course ready for the MCO.
