Disc Golf Tournament

� 2nd annual tournament at Riney B Disc Golf Course in Nicholasville, KY
� August 9th; Registration and Check-in starting at 8:30 a.m.; Players� Meeting at 9:00 a.m., Shotgun start at 9:30 a.m.
� PDGA C-Tier Event
� All PDGA divisions offered; must have at least 4 to have a division
� 2 rounds of 21 holes with an hour for lunch in between rounds
� Sweet players pack for all pre-registered participants
� Trophies and discs to be awarded to Ams; cash for Pros
� Over $300 cash and prizes added across all divisions
� Cost: Open � $50, Other Pros � $40, Advanced � $30, Intermediate � $25, Recreational � $20, Novice � $15, Juniors � $10
� $10 fee for non-PDGA members
� There will be door prizes for 10 lucky pre-registered participants and closest to the pin competitions for each division

The pins will be a mixture of "easy" and "hard." Whichever one you don't see at the Beaware the Beavers! on August 9, you will see at the Nicholasville Open on September 6.

I've hear rumors of a hole called "The Frog Leg" A 300 ft left turn dogleg up hill under a large fallen tree and out into the open with the basket down hill left and 30-40 ft next to the beaver pond. Will this placement be used during the tournament?

That will depend on whether or not we get the new placement in the ground in time.

We now have both DGA and Poor Boy Discs helping to sponsor this tournament. Both will be adding some really cool stuff. Plus, Poor Boy Discs will be vending at the event.

In addition, we may be debuting 3 new holes at Riney B, including a low ceiling deuce run, a peninsula hole, and the new longest-hole-on-the-course.

We currently have 49 players registered. You can still pre-register until Friday morning. The forecast looks amazing. It should be a great event.

Pre-registration has ended for this event, but we will stay take walk-ins Saturday morning starting at 8 a.m. We currently have 73 people pre-registered. We would love to see you there.
