Yeah, I'm alright. Fires are mostly in norcal, there isn't much burning down in pasadena. The conditions are ripe though, the grasses and stuff all died and dried up a month ago. I am back in pittsburgh the weekend after this one, I gotta get more dg in this time.

Hey Jerry -- I got my first earthquake today! I am sitting at my computer and the p-wave hits -- I'm thinking some bookcases collapsed upstairs. I look over at the other guy in my office, and a second or two later the s-wave hits. Feels like I am on a boat, rocking back and forth for 5 or 10 seconds. Pretty intense.

at least you didn't run out of the house naked.
