Get ready for another BIG time in the Texas Panhandle! August 23 - 24, 2008, the Texas Panhnadle Flying Disc Association will once again host the Top of Texas Open at the challenging Disc Creek Disc Golf Course. This will be a PDGA sanctioned event, I've already sent in the $$$ and sanctioning agreement. The TPFDA has been raising funds for this event since the Ice Bowl in Feb., hoping to make another fun weekend for everyone. Disc-Diva will be providing prizes for the AM divisions again. For further information, call me (806-670-3172) or e-mail me (johnrock900@msn.com).

More details coming soon.

Send one my way also(a flyer that is)...I'll get it up in the store, and start adding it to our weekly update emails. I personally can't make it that weekend...but I"ll sure try and get a few others that way.

Don't let a little inactivity fool you. The TOTO is on! It's a C-tier event and it's going to be a fun time!!

Don't worry about lunch on Saturday, CHICK-FIL-A is setting us up so we don't have to leave the area! I'm working on dinner for Sat. evening, I'll let you know soon.

Mini golf also and a raffle from Discrazy.

Make your plans and let's see who this year's TOP OF TEXAS CHAMP will be!

More and more rain lately. We may have to rely on more air shots because rollers will be difficult with high, wet grass. Pack your Gore-Tex and get ready for this year's Top!

Man, I sure wish we were there to play this tourney. Disc Creek is one of our favorite courses we've ever played. We played on our way to Worlds and on our way home!

Great event once again! Thanks to the staff and all the helpers...everything ran smooth as silk. The Sat. night meal was probably the best disc golf tournament meal I have ever had...Leal's kicks butt!!

Kyle was pretty much unstoppable this weekend...very consistant rounds. He even made some mistakes on holes (boogies) and still shot lights out. Congrats to Gary Neal for winning Masters on his first trip to Amarillo. Disc Creek suits his side-arm shot well.

Good luck to everyone going to NM States!
