Only 37 days left until we all converge on the State of Michigan (hope they're ready for us :D)

How about a bit of shopping to get yourself even more in the mood? All of the 2008 Worlds merchandise can be found at:

http://gottagogottathrow.com/discgolf/2008-worlds-merchandise-c-71.html

There's a plethora of merch to choose from -

** FLX Drones (get a free Ultra Light Buzz and have the chance to win a free ticket anywhere in the continental US!)
** Sparkle Rogues (win 18 baskets!)
** CFR Champion Wraiths, Destroyers, Gremlins, Glo discs and more
** DX Ontario, Ranch and San Marino Rocs
** CFR Star plastic
** SuperColor ESP plastic
** Special offerings from Huk Lab, Discwing, Latitude 64, Ching, Gateway, Little Flyers and more!

Remember - some of the items have limited weights and quantity. If it gets sold out by the time we leave, you will not be able to get it at the event. So if there's anything you have your eye on, it would be best to order it now!

Apparel has been ordered and will be available at the event as well as all the merch that is still available at the time we hit the road. We will also have some standard stock available for those emergencies (or impulse buys!)

We are looking forward to seeing you all in Kalamazoo. Don't hesitate to post or contact me with any merch questions you may have.

I have just heard from those in the know that the Discwing Quarter K II, Crosshair and Transcend should have final approval by the end of the week and that they will be usable at Worlds!

From PDGA Tech Standards:
All discs permitted for use in a PDGA World Championship must have been formally approved and available in retail outlets at least 30 calendar days prior to the event.

Pretty tight schedule since Homburg hasn't sent out the prelim approval for test results yet, the Board has to approve them and discs need to be in retail outlets by this Saturday.

Howdy Chuck-

Word on the street is that the discs will make the 30 day window and be playable at the tournament.

When I get further info I'll post it up.

This is the first year with the new 30-day rule so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. The reason for the rule was to level the playing field a little more for all competitors at Worlds, especially International players, where a manufacturer couldn't get a new disc model approved a few days before Worlds that only their sponsored players would have.
