I live within driving distance of the Worlds this year and was planning to come out and watch and check things out. My questions are:
1. What would be the best day to come out? I'm guessing the last saturday as that is when the finals for most everything is taking place.
2. Is there any cost to show up and watch?
3. Are there any clinics or anything taking place during the week, and if so what days?
Thanks, looking forward to it!

I would also say Friday. Saturday is often a spectacle, but Friday it's still REAL SERIOUS competition. You also may not find players on the ball as much on Saturday as it's often an unfamiliar layout. Last year's final 9 was all safari.
Bring sunscreen, shades, glasses and plenty of fluids, camera, sharpie, a disc for pros to sign, and a camera... that is quiet and doesn't flash. Don't ask players for autographs during rounds too. Only address players if they address you first, is a general rule, especially in high pressure situations.
Hope that helps. You'll have fun.

Also, Open will be at Timber Ridge Ski Hill on Friday which probably has much better vistas for spectating than Oshtemo where they will play their semi on Saturday in a mostly wooded course. The finals will be back at Timber Ridge Saturday afternoon but haven't seen the Final 9 plans yet.

Ok, thanks guys.
So: Timber Ridge on friday, then it sounds like Osthemo in the morning on saturday, then back to Timber Ridge in the afternoon?
I've never been to any of these courses, and certainly to a major event like this, so I'm just not sure what to expect or where to show up when, or what :)
Thanks for the tips, and any others I'd appreciate.
