A parent or guardian must sign if the player is under 18 years of age, right? What do you do if there isn't a parent or guardian there with them at the tourney?

Isnt a guardian though typically considered someone 18+?? So if thats the case anyone could be considered a guardian.

Not even close. the term is "legal Gaurdian". which means the person who has legal custody of the minor.

Keith,
if the Parent or Gaurdian is not there to sign the waiver for an event and you let the minor play without proper signatures i would assume the only thing that would happen would be you may be legally responsible for any occurance that may happen to said minor during your tourney. it is mearly a liabilty issue. but hey it's disc golf i have never seen an issue come up in any event i have played, but for me it would be better safe than sorry. "sorry man if we don't have a waiver unfortunatley you can't play"
