The PDGA B-tier Hoopers Open, is lining up for a great holiday weekend at the river town of Paducah KY on July 5-6. On July 4th, there is fireworks, concert, and etc at the riverfront, as well as draw doubles starting a 5 pm at the disc golf course. Then, Saturday late registration ends with the 9 am players meeting, then we will play 2 rounds of 18 holes (shot gun start planned) followed by one Sunday round with tee times starting with the pro groups at 9 am.
The players package for the first 50 (pro and am) signed up is a nice shirt and a $10 Hoopers gift certificate. All am and advanced will get a full color disc as well, and maybe more goodies as the sponsors keep jumping on board. This will also allow deep prizes for the am groups on Sunday.
The pro prize payout should sweet, with over $500 cash added to the pro purse, and a $100 bounty from HB Clark Signature Disc Golf Course Designs if the tournament course record of 52 is broken. An entry form is here: http://www.bluegrassdiscgolf.org/Paducah.html
or you can sign up on line here: http://www.pdgasignup.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi?CMD=011&PROD=1204522179
You can still be a hole sponsor (or find a business to sponsor you and a hole) for $100, which includes your entry fee, players package, and special sponsor perks at the park. If needed, here http://www.bluegrassdiscgolf.org/Sponsor.html is the sponsor form you can print and take to your boss or favorite business.
