Played a tourament on my honeymoon at the resort we were staying at, and won the **** thing. Pretty much by taking my same approach that I do when putting.

First time I had played and beat some dudes that play in tourneys, I think I may have a professional future if disc golf doesnt work out.

Anyone play in Bocce tourneys? I am interested in attending one in my area (NC). Looked up the US Bocce Organization and most tourneys are west coast. I think I could compete, seriously.

Enhancing your name to Hartoni might add credibility for bocce also.... :D

I'm a open court bocce player. every sat, three buddies of mine and I rock the Bells Beer and play some tests. Throw in some cheesy english golf commentary and arbitrary sponsor plugs ("This Test is brought to you by Beer. Beer, get some...") and it's a fun night.
Been playing for 4 years or so.

what kind of approach do you take? out of the three, I'm an arial assault hucker...lots of backspin, big dents in the lawn. I've found I"m pretty accurate raining destruction down on upon my foes, knocking their balls out of scoring position...in bocce.
