Anyone throwing these. Has anyone else noticed a major difference in the flight of the flat top champion destroyers and the poppy top domey destroyers. I have been throwing the flatter ones and they are pretty much dead straight, but these domey poppy-top ones seem really overstable like a firebird. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this?

i havent seen a poppy top. they flat ones are slightly HS understable, but have a good fade. i have a few that have a slight, gradual dome that are dead nuts straight ith a strong fade, but not firechicken OS.

I have 2 Homie CFR from last fall that are very flat. They fly very straight & far.

I have 2 IOS #5 DISContinuum Presents the Illinois Open CFR from earlier this spring. They are both VERY domey and SUPER OVERSTABLE. Theyse are fantastic wind drivers for me. It has changed my distance game into the wind dramatically.

I love the flight of the flat molds, I saw some domey destroyers and opted for another flat one. If the domeys are more stable like the Pro destroyers than I'm interested, otherwise the flats are great.

Anyone have any lighter champion flat destroyers for sale?

in the case of the destroyer--= domey discs fly staighter. they are more hi speed stable, and less low speed overstable. they also have more glide.

I don't know about that. I can throw my flat champion destroyers 400 feet and can turn it over nicely if I need to. The domey ones I have can only reach about 375 and are super overstable at all speeds. I have to really power an S shot to get it to finish straight. The flat ones are just amazing though. he domey ones are great for big headwinds though and when you really need it to stay stable.

I'd love to trade two domey ones for two flat ones.

I usually call them 'busty', but to each his own.

I may have to borrow that term, Busty sounds much better than Domey. Anyone know when the first runs of CFR Destroyers were put out? I won this one via a donation from a TX guy that came to our handicap league the week of the Indy 500. Tourney date on the stamp is mid Oct 07, so I figure it had to be produced sometime in Q3 07? He also brought a sweet shirt from 3rd Coast Disc Golf. I love the stamp & this thing is just as flat as my 1st run Stars. There was pretty much an unofficial auction after I accepted the ctp prize of disc/shirt from TX & I turned them all down due to the awesomeness of the prize. I wear the shirt alot now but have never thrown the disc.

Has anyone else notice a difference in the wing of the US Masters destroyers? They look more like a wraith than a destoyer. They also seem to fly a little faster and be a tad more understable at high speeds. Has anyone else had results like this?
