Flicks are way to stable for me. They seem to only go left out of my hand. Spirits I could manipulate, and do many things with, and it still fights the wind. That's strictly my experience though.

IMO New flicks are wicked and not very controllable. But once beat in with some overhead shots. They are sick. Love mine for HUGE hyzer skips bh or fh and great for knife hyzers and alot of tricky shots. But I didn't spend much time with the spirit i had to give a good opinion on it. :P

pretty close if you are actually talking about the "flat top spirits" i give the nod to the flick though.

i only throw the flat top spirits. the ones i have last forever and turn into amazing controllable drivers. similar to an eagle. new, they're more overstable than anything and better than flicks for overhead shots. i've tried flicks twice (not two throws, i mean i bought two of them) and they just can't compare. as backhand and overhand discs. i did have some success with the flick as a forehand disc, but that's the only area where it compares.

I had a 1st run 150 flick in my bag for a long time. It was a great flyer and was easily controllable. Then I lost it at USDGC and had to pick up another one. The new 150 flick I got doesn't fly or feel as comfortable at my old one did...

is it a z or esp 150 flick? i love 150 z-flicks for forehands, they vary in stability by color though. i want to try the new esp ones but haven't got one yet.

flick is the best sidearm disc made, period. i use mine on every course i play. i also have a spirit in my bag. both of these discs i sidearm only. i use the spirit on shorter more stable shots
