Generally what I do is lay low in hopes that someone else volunteers to drive. The week before the event I start hearing rumours of carpool scenarios and attempt to weasel into one or all of these. If nothing comes up by Thursday night I panic and start making calls in a last ditch effort for full chaeuffer treatment. This effort often backfires on me because I have a reliable 4-door vehicle and am prone to caving in to peer pressure. My proximity to I-40 however means I'm discharged from picking most of you up. So that's my strategy and I'm sticking to it. :D

DG, or anyone who knows...What are the changes to the Kinston course? I think I may go out there tomorrow, so I will have it figured out by then anyway, but was just curious. Thanks

PS-Did you guys look at the Steady Ed results? Whoa! 1030 golf got you 10th place.

Whole 2 is going to be lengthened so that a great drive may get you infront of the OG tee pad. Hole 6's dirt mound that the basket sits up on is now bigger. and hole 7's change i don't think will be dealt with before the tourney.

not much has changed as far as playing the course. 6 does not have a basket right now, the mound is being redone. 2 and 15 may have long pads my the king's cup, depends on whether or not they get permission to use a section of land behind 2's pad. there may also be a mando on 4 forcing you to play the fairway.

they have started to clear where the pad on 2 will go so you can see it, and 15 would have the old long pad concreted in.

you had to shoot 1000 average just to cash. last cash was around 997.5 second to last was 1001. WOW. i can't wait to see what Wiggin's Jr's 13 down long to short cedar rock round averages at. he beat schweb by 2.

Greenville Disc Golf will be having a monthly this Saturday as part of the King's Cup. Anyone playing in the King's Cup can sign up. Think of it as a side bet on the tournament. Results for the monthly are based on the two Saturday rounds. Entry fee: $10 Pro, $5 Am, optional $1 ace pool.

I too would like to reserve a seat on the shuttle(if available)I am however awaiting results of X-Rays I had on my foot this AM.Once I see what damage is done I will know whether I am going or not.Hopefully I will not miss out.

I was approaching my lie on 8 Saturday and stepped on a root root.It was hurtin pretty good Sunday and Monday.I was afraid that I may have a hairline fracture so I had some X-Rays done,luckily negative.Ya'll gonna have to wait till Sunday to pry that # 1 from my death grip
